Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

To hope we can stop hearing about Kim and Kanye's wedding. No one cares!

To be watching I Wanna Marry Harry. I'm embarrassed. People ask why I'm embarrassed and it's because sometimes I feel ridiculous watching things like that. But it entertains me. And makes me feel better about myself.

To miss Tom. He left for a military class. The plus? It's close enough that he might be able to come home on weekends. The blah? He won't get to come to the beach with us. And yes, I complained about it in Things That Annoy Me Thursday before.

To have watched Petals in the Wind on Lifetime yesterday. It's the sequel to Flowers in the Attic. I remember reading those books when I was a young teen and being like !!!!! (If you missed it, the movie should repeat today.)

To still be annoyed when people write "Go!" after asking a question on a Facebook group. Just ask the question and leave it at that. I normally won't answer if someone writes "GO!" at the end of their question. I'm a brat that way.

To have been creeped out while watching the entire season of Hannibal. If you haven't seen it, you should! It's been re-newed for another season. Yay!

To be hosting a giveaway for an American Bible Challenge gift pack here.

To have liked the chicken and waffles at Kevin Durant's restaurant KDs. They weren't anything super spectacular, but were tasty. I also tried collard greens for the first time. I'm a fan.

  1. I've never had chicken & waffles. I'm actually not a fan of waffles.
Well-seasoned and well-cooked greens are SOOO delicious.
I wish Kimye would just disappear.
I actually just read the entire Flowers in the Attic series. I thought I'd read the first one as a kid but when I actually read it I was like UM NO I'd have definitely remembered this!! So I was super stoked when I saw that the Petals on the Wind movie was coming and I really enjoyed it, and now I'm excited for the next two!

  4. Am sick to death of Kimye, but, that said, I'm dying to see the photos from the wedding ... don't ask me why!

  5. I am so excited to read that someone else loves the show Hannibal. I'm obsessed. The episode during the finale was almost too much for me, though. It was awesome but so, so gruesome. The finale was so intense. Will (aka Hugh Dancy) is dreamy.

Add me to the list of people who want Kim and Kanye to go away.

  6. Should we start the countdown until we start hearing about their divorce? They seriously annoy me. Started your book last night. I'm a fan. :)

  7. I refuse to respond to the "And Go!" as well. Just ask the stupid question. We all understand what is needed. We don't need more.

  9. I'm sick of Kimye too.
IWMH reminds me of Joe Millionaire. I will admit I watched that a long time ago.
I loved all VC Andrews books when I was younger but still can't bring myself to watch these movies after what I've heard about them from other VC fans.

  11. I'm going to have to set my DVR tonight to record that movie! I saw Flowers in the Attic and I'm glad to know there is another one to watch!

  13. I am so over Kim and Kanye. Like so over them that I'm mad at myself for even just typing their name. This list was hilarious

  14. I cannot get on board with the idea of chicken and waffles. I just can't.

  15. Petals on the Wind!!!! I'm annoyed that they skipped so much and left out that she was a super famous ballerina.

  16. It is a little funny when someone says "Go" and no one makes a comment.
Am I evil for laughing at that?
I haven't seen or heard a thing about Kimye Wedding. Yay!

  17. Collard greens? I want to try them! Ugh I love lifetime. They are so dramatic and feed into my paranoid imagination, I gotta watch. Lol at “I wanna marry harry.” I’m going to forego the google search and just ask you what the heck that is

  18. I didn't know Flowers in the Attic had a sequel! I must watch/read!

  20. I feel the same way about FB posts that says "GO" at the end. It makes me not want to answer anymore even if I wanted to in the beginning! And those that says "Share this if you love your mother..etc." Ugh.

  21. I don't care about their wedding either. All the celebrity chatter in general drives me nuts. Who really cares?!

  22. I second no one cares about Kim and Kanye's wedding!

  26. Actually, if we stop hearing about anything Kanye, Kim, or otherwise Kardashian related, that would be great. Make it so! And chicken and waffles sounds awesome right now. Can you tell I'm hungry?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I have never eaten Chicken & Waffles. They are two of my favorite things, but together? Not so sure. How do you even eat them together?? I guess I need to try...Lol. Now, collard greens...yes! Those are DELISH!

  28. I am also anxiously awaiting the death of Kimye news. Why does anyone care?? They got married ! Big whoop! Now when they are married for 25 years of 50 years, then I'll celebrate!

  29. Okay--I'll admit it. Keeping Up with the Kardashians was on Hulu Plus, all seasons. So I watched seven seasons of that mess last weekend. It's pretty addictive. Sad, but true. I only made it to the point where she and Kanye were dating, but that family will do anything for money. That's what her wedding to Kris Humphries was about...they cashed in...made millions of dollars. I think she and Kanye are genuine, but it's a little sad that the family can't do anything if it's not going to be televised and monetized...

  30. Ya I'm really over Kim and Kanye's, or the even more ridiculous version- Kimye's, wedding....okay, they're getting married. Nice dress. Nice cake. Move on.

  31. I've never tried chicken and waffles but, it looks so good! I watched Petals on the Wind and was very excited for the sequel to Flowers in the Attic. I enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the other movies to come out. Hannibal is super creepy but once you start watching it, it is hard to stop.
