**CLOSED**
I used random.org to pick a winner and it chose...number 16, which is Blissed Out Grandma! Congrats!
Everything is awesome!
I dare you not to sing this after seeing The Lego Movie.
Here's some info about the movie that I received in the e-mail:
The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is an original 3D computer animated story that follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Chris Pratt (Moneyball) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (The Campaign) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (Taken) voices the president's powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet.
Starring as Emmet's fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Emmy nominee for 30 Rock), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest; Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, 30 Rock), as the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure with whom Lucy shares a history; Nick Offerman (NBC's Parks and Recreation) as a craggy, swaggering pirate, obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Alison Brie (Community) as a sweet, loveable member of the team, with a powerful secret.
I've seen it before, and I really liked it. Uni-Kitty is the best.

We just watched the Lego Movie for the first time the night before last! The boys thought it was hilarious and now we can't stop singing "Everything is Awesome". My favorite character would probably be Batman - he was pretty ridiculous ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to catch the entire movie...dang it! I have, however, heard the song "Everything is Awesome". I love all the LEGO characters, so I can't wait to actually see the whole movie!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it but Scarlet saw it in the theater with Cassidy and loved it. I have heard the song.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen it because I'm not crazy enough to take my hyper 4.5 year old to the theaters and I didn't know it was out yet! We bent over backwards to make sure we got all the cups from Mcdonalds though!!!

p.s.- I promise, I'll start checking my emails more often!! I'm so sorry that I waited so long to respond to you! I haven't been online as much lately and don't have my ipad anymore so I forget to check my emails.
We haven't seen the Lego movie yet but we would love to!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the trailers for it, but we have to wait a little for it to show up in theaters here. Haven't heard the song either but I think I will go rectify that now!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen it,but my daughter has. And is constantly singing that song!
ReplyDeleteWe have not seen it yet - but considering the love of batman we have in this house (seriously, we have AT LEAST 12 Batman action figures, all different somehow), I would guess it the favorite will be Batman.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen it because I am nervous about taking my 3 year old to the movies when she can't even sit still through a whole movie at home yet. We've heard great things about the movie and are excited to see it!
ReplyDeleteMy nephew is Lego-obsessed and has been for a couple of years, so I know this audience is going to do VERY well.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen it yet. We will see it next Thursday, as it is part of our summer movie program! My boys are so excited!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get to see it when it was in the theaters, but my son has been "politely" reminding me that it's coming out! I'd love to be mom of the day (let's face it- with kids a month or year title might be a stretch) and win it for him!!
ReplyDeleteI read/sang Everything is awesome in my head the moment I opened this post.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but my kids and husband have. The husband said Batman was pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteWe loved the Lego movie! I couldn't decide which character was my favorite - but my son loved seeing the blue Lego Spaceman!
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to see it with our grandkids, but their parents took them instead (of all the nerve, right?). ViMae, who loves unicorns, LOVED UniKitty, and her brother, who loathes unicorns, seemed okay with UniKitty, too. So until I see the movie myself, that's my favorite character!
ReplyDeleteI watched the movie in theaters with my two young nieces. My favorite character was Lucy. Thanks.

Finally got to see it, not that awesome, but the song is fun.
ReplyDeleteWe have not seen this movie yet! We have heard great things about it and would love to win a copy of it!
