I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To have watched Shark Week. I could not be a shark hunter. I value my arms too much.
--To be excited that Starbucks will be releasing it's pumpkin drinks at the end of the month. I LOVE pumpkin spice cream drinks. (No coffee. I don't like coffee.)
--To LOVE pumpkin flavored things. That's one of my favorite things about fall.
--To be enjoying the quiet because the kids went back to school today. (And if you missed it, I wrote a post on Things I Don't Do For Back To School.)
--to have been tagged to do the ALSIceBucketChallenge. I'm just donating. I chill easily. It's an awesome cause, but most of my attention goes to Wounded Warrior Project or Autism Speaks, for obvious reasons. If you want to join in, consider yourself tagged by me and have fun! (Confused? Google it. Tons of info will pop up. Or click here.)
--to love the new Gymboree line Prep Perfect! I want so many things.
--to hope I can convince to wear the adorable A League of Their Own costume that I found on Etsy. It's a mini Peaches uniform. Natalie's all, "I don't know what that is! Or who they are! I don't like baseball!" I'm still working on her. The Disney Store released their Halloween costumes, and there's nothing that Natalie really cared for since she already owns nearly all of them. But A League of Their Own would be cute. And original!

ReplyDeletemy eyes nearly popped out of my head when i saw tommy's backpack. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT I NEED IT IN MY LIFE

Vodka and Soda
I love League of their own! So happy the kids went back to school today, mine starts on Thursday. Enjoy the quiet!
ReplyDeleteOh - definitely Natalie should go with the costume from A League of Their Own. Maybe Tommy will be Tom Hanks!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Tommy's backpack!
I LOVE pumpkin flavored stuff!!! And I am totally jealous. I think I may need a Rockville Peach costume for Halloween this year!
ReplyDeleteLove the back pack. I hadn't even thought of Halloween. Crap. Now I have to start thinking about it.
ReplyDeletePumpkin!!!! I also love non-coffee pumpkin drinks! And Pumpkin pie and pumpkin anything!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Tommy's back back, that's cool! Can;t wait for my kids to go back to school, they're bored now and I'm finding it hard to keep them entertained.

That backpack is AWESOME!!! Brought me right back to my childhood!
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for fall to come - warm drinks, pumpkin flavors, cute sweaters and boots, and, of course, meeting my little man! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the League of Their Own costume!
ReplyDeletemy fave starbucks drink is salted caramel mocha, which comes out for fall, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI love the backpack!!!
ReplyDeletePumpkin is awesome. I make an amazing pumpkin pie. :)
Too cute about League of their Own.
I hope it's okay for me... not to like pumpkin flavored things! I know I'm in the minority.
ReplyDeleteAre you aware how little of your donation to Wounded Warrior Project actually goes to a wounded vet? Administratively they are very top heavy with $300K plus salaries. Researchers have found that as little as 38% makes it to wounded vets and even then it may not go to them directly because WWP spreads funds out through other organizations.
ReplyDeleteI understand your wanting to give to military causes, but there are much better options out there.
Linked up! I too am glad for the older ones to have returned to school but I am going to miss my preschooler.
ReplyDeleteI got challenged and did the Ice dump, and we will also make a donation. We have a family member with ALS, so the cause is close to my heart.
ReplyDeleteDO the Peaches!!! OMG - that would be so adorable. Just remind her: there's no crying in baseball.
I am so excited for fall it isn't even funny. Unfortunately I live in Georgia.. and fall doesn't really get here until basically the end of October, sometimes Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Scarlet would like the pumpkin cream drinks! She tried a pumpkin muffin the other day and loved it.
ReplyDeletePumpkin fest is nearly upon us!
Oh my goodness... I am beyond excited for fall and all things pumpkin to be returning! My friends all think I am crazy, but I am seriously the happiest person ever once fall comes around!
ReplyDeleteAnd A League of Their Own was a fabulous movie! Something every girl should watch!!
it's totally okay to think his backpack is cool. omg, its epic!!!
ReplyDeleteI did the ice water challenge a couple months ago when it was a pick your own charity. I did Military Veterans Project. It was pretty cool, my kids helped me and stuff.
and now i have to go check out this prep line....my husband hates...i mean, thanks you.
I LOVE a League of their own. One of my favorite movies!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw the League of Their Own costume - ADORABLE!! And his backpack is AWESOME! Does he have the original NES to play with?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all things pumpkin and I don't like it when I am expecting something pumpkiny but it ends not being pumpkiny. And I love some quiet time too!
ReplyDeletePumpkin stuff is the best stuff!! I cannot wait for fall!
ReplyDeleteWe were watching 'Bark Week' on Animal Planet. I think that's worse than admitting to watching Shark Week!
ReplyDeleteHuge fan of the backpack! :)
ReplyDeleteThe "A League of Their Own" costume sounds so cute!
ReplyDeleteI loved that movie! It's one of my favorites of all times! I never get tired of it! Sadly, my kids don't really dress up anymore. I think my youngest dug something up last minute last year when he decided to go trick or treating with friends. But the other two weren't interested. :(
ReplyDeleteThat backpack is super cool! Both my boys would love one like that. I'm not ready to think about pumpkin or Halloween costumes (we may be outgrowing that here...) yet though.
ReplyDeleteHis backpack is SO cool! My husband wants to go shark diving next time we go to Hawaii and much like his skydiving trip, I will pass. There's no way! I prefer to be on the boat, not under it.
ReplyDeleteIs it okay if I totally don't get the pumpkin thing? I mean I like pumpkins, but I don't understand the frenzy they bring about this time of year.
