Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
------------

--To not care that Brad and Angelina got married. It's hard for me to like their relationship when Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston when they fell in love.

--To really wish they'd send Frankie home in Big Brother. I know he wanted to donate his winnings to charity. His sister is rich enough to do that for him. Send him HOME.

--To have done nothing for Labor Day weekend. Tom had to work. I read a lot.

--To have ugly cried when watching Lone Survivor. I recommend the movie. But you will cry. And wonder why our soldiers aren't paid as much as ridiculous sport stars.

--To be happy that pumpkin spice drinks are back at Starbucks! I get a pumpkin spice cream drink since I don't like coffee. I ask for non-fat, no whipped cream to try and cut back on calories. But it's still pretty fatty. I don't care.

--To have a giveaway for a $15 gift card to Fandango here.

--To watch 19 Kids and Counting (it starts again tonight!) but roll my eyes a bit when Michelle refers to Jim Bob as "babysitting" their kids. ?! Also, the older kids should not have to care for the younger ones. But still, they seem like nice people.

--To have listed some of Natalie's clothes on eBay. You can check them out here. I'll eventually sell more.

--To be proud of Tom for going to the funeral of Kye, a fallen police dog. It was his day off and he didn't have to go, but he wanted to show his support since he used to be part of K9.

  2. I am totally with you, Amber on the Brad and Angelina thing. I don't care that they got married. I had no idea they weren't married and she will always be a man poacher to me.

  3. i'm probably the only person in the universe who doesn't like jennifer aniston. i know. automatic unfollow! but seriously, i don't dislike her or anything, she just isn't my fave celeb. i'm glad everyone has moved on and is happy.

  4. I don't care about their wedding. At all.

I am thrilled about 19 Kids and Counting but good lord, do I despise Jim Bob. If they never showed him, that'd be just splendid.

  5. I didn't even know they got married. I thought that happened a while ago. I'll never be on board with their relationship for the same reason. I definitely need to start selling some clothes on eBay. Do you have any tips? I've never done it before.

  6. totally with you on the "babysitting" terminology....since when does ANYONE babysit they're OWN children?? Really? But I'm thinking that when you have THAT MANY offspring, the older will just have to take care of the younger...there's just too many to not.

Couldn't care less about Brangelina....like others have said, man poacher. (She was however STELLAR in Maleficent...)

  7. I feel the same way about Brad and Angelina. I'm a Friends fan through and through so I just can't with those two. Plus I've never been a huge Angelina fan.

  8. I am too afraid to watch Lone Survivor. My husband loves military movies, but since we are both in the Air National Guard, I can't watch them anymore. I will be crying in 10 seconds if I do.

  9. Ugh Brad and Angelina, I wish those two would just stop being "important" in the eyes of the media. Someone posted the other day about why we should move past the Jennifer thing but I just can't. You don't cheat on your wife/sleep with another woman's husband and then expect me to respect you just because you have a thousand kids and give money to charity. Guess what?! The Duggars do that too and they didn't need to end a marriage and publicly embarrass someone to do it. And yes I am super excited the Duggars return tonight, I like being able to watch a reality show with my kids and the only thing I worry about is having to explain the idea of courting to them... very refreshing!

  10. I haven't ever watched 19 Kids and Counting - I'm pretty sure it could suck me in!!
I love the dress blues - sweet that Tom went to the funeral for the police dog.

  11. Well I do not really care for their relationship either but i am not going to disapprove because of the way it happened....I am the last person to judge someone because of that. I have never watched 19 kids and counting. Of course I live in the same state and used to live less than 20 miles from them. Their house is huge in person. We did nothing for labor day either.

  12. I'm so glad they gave Kye such a beautiful memorial. I cant get over the Brad/Jen/Angelina thing either. Sorry but uhm...they both disgust me. Still.

  13. Brangelina were not married already? Our starbucks here do not have pumpkin lattes but i have heard the best from everyone(well, taste wise!), must be quite yummy!

  14. I'm not a fan of Angelina Jolie either so am with you there!

  15. I'm so excited that the pumpkin spice lattes are back at Starbucks! I haven't even had one yet but it's on my to-do list for next week. (is that sad?) I have to admit that I did see a pic online of Angelina's dress and it was sweet that she used her kids drawings on her veil. Pretty unique!

  16. I'm excited for 19 Kids and Counting too - although I wish poor Jana could get out of her mommy duties. So cool that your husband went to a K9 dog funeral.

  17. I don't care about Brangelina either!

  18. I honestly didn't even know they got married recently! I thought it was ages ago. I didn't care either!

  19. I am so with you on the Brad and Angelina thing!

  20. Yes! YES YES! Frankie needs to go! I am soooooo sick and tired of him!

  21. Doing nothing sounds heavenly. I fixed sprinkler lines and did laundry and cleaned. How nice that your husband went to the K9 funeral. Those are brave, beautiful creatures.

  22. I am so with you.. Frankie needs to go. He is just.. ugh. I don't even have words. I want Derek to win.

  23. Can't say I've heard of Lone Survivor, but definitely agree on the pay wage statement.
I work as a 911 dispatcher and know the importance of K9 dogs. It was a nice thing for him to attend the funeral.

  24. I don't like that he older kids have so much responsibility over the younger kids, either.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Couldn't agree more regarding Brad and A. I will never feel the same about these two do to how they started.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I looked at the picture of Angelina Jolie's wedding dress and didn't really care. She looks emaciated. Eat a cookie, woman!

  27. I'm with you on not caring that Brad and Angelina got married. I think Angelina pretty much snatched him away from Jennifer. Although I don't think she is a bad person.

I don't think older kids should have to take care of there younger siblings or there siblings kids. I never had to but my ex always was taking care of his younger siblings and his nephews. I don't have any kids but when I do have children I hope I wouldn't expect the older siblings to take care of the younger ones.

  28. I also wish they would send Frankie home, don't care much about the Brangelina wedding, although Miraval wine is quite good and can't wait to have some pumpkin spice coffee.

  29. Yeah I don't follow the celebrity gossip either. I just found out they got married yesterday but I thought they were married all along. Oh well.

And I cannot imagine even having 19 kids so watching that show just makes me think they're absolutely nuts.

  30. I think it's totally sweet that Tom went the Kye's funeral. Our K9's deserve just as much respect as any human that serves!
