I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To be happy that #lovewins. I have friends who do not agree with the decision, but they're kind about it. On the other side, I do have some people on my Facebook list who are being downright obnoxious with their disapproval, but that's what the hide button is for.
--To also be happy that selfie sticks are banned at Disney parks. They are so annoying. And yes, I still detest the word selfie. Just typing it out makes me cringe.
--To have enjoyed the movie Spy. It was very amusing.
--To hope Bristol Palin stops criticizing other people now that she's wound up pregnant again. I like how she said she didn't want to hear any lectures, yet she lectures others. Okay?
--To like that Natalie did Vacation Bible School last week. As I've mentioned before, I am not religious. I'm more agnostic, but I want my kids to decide for themselves on what they want to believe.
--To be glad Natalie enjoyed her Crossfit Camp. I cannot do Crossfit as I am weak and allergic to exercise. But my daughter has always been athletic. I might sign her up for the Crossfit Kids classes.

Selfie sticks are getting banned everywhere!
ReplyDeleteMy parents did the same thing with me with religion.
I think selfie sticks are annoying too. I can see way too many accidental injuries happening from people swinging them around. No thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think selfie sticks are ridiculous, glad that most theme parks are banning them.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Natalie is enjoying her camps this summer. My boys are not too enthusiastic about camps. I'm not sure why. I think they'd rather be home playing on the iPad. Like I would let them do that all day!
ReplyDeleteI agree about being happy that #lovewins.
ReplyDeleteGreat post: http://www.buzzfeed.com/awesomer/what-happens-now#.lkK2K87qO
allergic to exercise... ha ha to good.
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute in her crossfit t-shirt. Glad she had fun!
ReplyDeleteOther than using the selfie sticks for hands free tv watching I agree with banning them. Can i tell you how much I love that she got knock up again because pompous people like that deserve the karma stick. Practice what you preach!
ReplyDeleteI'm more agnostic too, but it's nice to find meaning and structure and let your kids explore. It's cool.
ReplyDelete#lovewins - yay. People can be downright horrible about it, or even not, but the truth is - love did win. This is law. And the more people complain about it.. it gets kinda embarrassing, ya know? Don't let your intolerance show, people!
Anyway. I went on a rant.
I love your Tuesday posts.
I went to Banff and was appalled by all the selfie sticks! Seriously people?! The thing was, it seemed like everyone had one! (And yes, selfie is an awful word... but what else would we call it)? The English language is always changing... and not for the best!
ReplyDeleteYou're "weak and allergic to exercise"... that statement alone made my day.
Thanks for sharing!
xoxo
I laughed at that selfie stick story. They should be banned altogether, everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSO glad about the selfie sticks. When we were at Disney in November, they were everywhere and I was so annoyed!
ReplyDeleteI just don't get self sticks. Good for Disney :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we went to Disney before the selfie stick was invented. That would have been annoying. Sure, my arms aren't long enough to get the whole family in the shot, but that's what makes the pictures fun: the grimaces, the half faces, the laughter...
ReplyDeleteWho knew they had Crossfit for kids?! That's awesome!!
