Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To be watching Making A Murderer on Netflix. It's interesting. It's upsetting to Tom. As a cop, he hates hearing about shady ones. And there are some shady ass cops in this documentary.

--To not think Teresa Guidice really got punished properly for lying. She was recently released from prison, and what her husband has stated, it didn't seem like it was rough for her in there. He likened it to a spa at one point and I'm thinking, "Um. How is that a punishment?"

--To be ready for the kids to go back to school today. They had yesterday off because it was a teacher workday.

--To have told someone that my word of the year is "hungry." I don't understand when people ask me what my word is. I'm usually hungry, so it's hungry.

--To have gone to Barnes and Noble over the weekend. I love it in there. I could breathe in books all day.

--To be taking a bunch of stuff to Once Upon A Child this week. Old toys, clothes, shoes, etc...trying to make room for new things.

--To feel like this after paying off all the Christmas bills:

On the plus, we have no debt.

  1. What famous person gets punished anymore?? It's such a joke!
Hahaha I know you're ready for them to get back to school. I used to be so bummed after the holidays going back. And then I tortured myself some more with college and grad and post grad school. Wth is wrong with me.

  3. I've heard of Making a Murderer but don't have interest in those kinds of shows.
I need to clear out some of the old kids' stuff and donate it.
I love the smell of book stores!

  8. I watched it, I have opinions, but won't share as some have not seen it. It is frustrating, and at times unbelievable. I can see why Tom would be upset.

  9. My life has become one continual conversation about How to Make a Murderer!! And my hubby as a cop has actually yelled at the TV, and then left the room in disgust. Only to creep back in because his detective mind keeps telling him there is more to the story. To which I say, yes -- it's only episode 4 so sit your ass down and shut up and watch!!! But honestly, I've never heard of anything like this ever before.

  15. I've watched the first episode of Making A Murderer. I plan on watching the rest. It's definitely intriguing, and controversial. Yours is the best word I've heard yet! I love bookstores too.

  17. Everyone seems to be picking a word...and I'm lacking the inspiration to do it too. I want to watch Making a Murderer, but am a little apprehensive. I'm one of those naive people who likes to think people are (mostly) good.

  18. No debt= awesome! I need to get back there again.
    Hungry, I like it. :)
Barnes & Noble is certainly one of my favorite places in the world!! Sadly, I no longer live close to one, I have to go a few cities over. (Must plan a trip soon.)
