Hey, It's Okay!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To be THRILLED that Melissa McCarthy will be back as Sookie in the new Gilmore Girls episodes.

--To have gone on a date with Tom last week. It was fantastic. We went to a German restaurant and Dairy Queen. We're pretty simple.

--To be watching Fear The Walking Dead even though it's not nearly as interesting as The Walking Dead.

--To have a book review up over at Chick Lit Central here. Check it out! Reading is the best.

--To appreciate all the kind notes I received for yesterday's blog entry This Is Tommy (A Story Of A Boy With Autism.)

--To have been livid over the outcome of The People VS OJ Simpson even though I knew the verdict. Still. Ugh. Does anyone else want to give Marcia Clark a hug?

--To have watched Daddy's Home with the boys. It was pretty funny.

--To need to buy this sign for Tommy. I found it at Toys R Us. Maybe he'll get it for Christmas. I never know what to get him. All he says is "video games" for things he wants.

  2. I love that you were livid about the outcome of the trial even though we lived it once already! I didn't watch (mostly because we don't have a TV) but I can imagine myself doing something exactly like that!

  6. I love Sookie, too. And I'm grateful for your review of Daddy's Home. I want to watch that with my kids.

Ooo, German food, huh? Spatzel? Bratwurst? Or just 5,201 pretzels would be fine with me. The soft but chewy kind they make.

  10. We're behind on the OJ thing in the UK (although don't worry I know the ending!) however I still don't see how he got away with it!!!! I think that will go down as one of the big unanswered questions along with the meaning of life!

  11. I can't imagine that she wouldn't reprise her Sookie role! It was good!
We watched Daddy's Home over the weekend and it had quite some funny moments.

  12. Thanks for the shout-out. I'll have to check out the autism post. Good to know about Daddy's Home. Not that I have time for movies with all my shows coming back. :)

  14. Happy Tuesday!
My husband and I had a pretty simply date yesterday, I'm easy to please. :) The kids were at school, we finally did our taxes, and decided to reward ourselves.

  15. That's a great sign! Loved your post yesterday, too. I'm terrible at commenting when I read on mobile.

  16. Daddy's Home is on my list of movies to watch too. Not a very long list, but I do love me some comedies.

  17. Agree about the People vs. OJ. The actors that played Marcia Clark & Chris Darden did an amazing job. My heart broke for the Goldman family all over again!

  18. I am also soooo excited about Melissa McCarthy! When I saw that last week, it made my day! :)

  19. I so want to hug Marcia Clark. I remember watching the trial when it was in TV, but it still doesn't make the outcome any less easy to handle. Watching the People V Oj. My take away was the Robert Kardashian wasn't a bad guy and thought OJ was guilty. I feel sorry for him for having a killer for a friend and sluts for kids. I blame it all on Kris and Bruce
