--To have been published over at Scary Mommy again. I write about keeping the magic alive when your kids are growing up. You can check it out here.
--To want to see The Jungle Book. Maybe I'll take the kids soon. I'm not sure if Tom would sit through it.
--To think it's cute that Natalie is excited about the Daddy/Daughter dance on Saturday. Apparently Maleficent is making an appearance.
--To be bummed that we're nearly done watching Breaking Bad. I really enjoy the show even though Walt turned scary.
--To have taken Natalie to a They Serve 2 dinner yesterday at the Youth Center where they thanked military kids.
--To also have a post about military kids being okay here. Some people worry about their well-being since they move around so much and have to say goodbye to a parent often due to deployments. But they'll be fine!
--To have made this because it's true:
The Jungle Book was awesome!! As far as kid movies go, this one is definitely one of the more "Dad-friendly" movies!
ReplyDeletei want to see the jungle book--i've heard it's great!
ReplyDeleteI liked Breaking Bad too. Congrats on writing on Scary Mommy!
ReplyDeleteWe keep trying to take my son to see The Jungle Book because he likes the cartoon version. He wants no part of it though!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news about Scary Mommy! One of these days I'll get around to submitting something over there.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad was so good. SO GOOD.
I was SO sad when we finished Breaking Bad... it's been well over a year for us, and I'm still quoting it nearly daily.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see The Jungle Book! Idris and ScarJo? I'm so in!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, congrats on your article! It's AWESOME!!!

And jungle book is my FAVOURITE
ReplyDeleteI want to see The Jungle Book. We did Zootopia today and I loved it. It was a bit hard for Des to sit through so I'm thinking just Scarlet for Jungle Book. And of course, I made the mistake of checking online if either of my kids are old enough for Jungle Book. According to the parents online, my kids need to be at least 65!
ReplyDeleteYou should watch Better Call Saul after you finish BB!
ReplyDeleteHaha, we just finished the first season of Better Call Saul and YES definitely watch it after Breaking Bad!!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to see The Jungle Book as well!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for my girls to get to enjoy father/daughter dances with their daddy. It will certainly be special.
ReplyDeleteFunny Coachella meme. I have Vegas envy at the moment. I keep seeing my friend and sister posting pics from their trips.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Breaking Bad, but hey...Mindy is back!!! My husband wants to pace out watching Kimmy Schmidt, not that we have time this week anyway, but I want more!!!
I love these posts! One day I am going to remember to link up! I love that they had a dinner for your kids, because they do serve, too! They sacrifice their moms or dads and that is huge! That is awesome! I hope they felt special.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous that we don't have father daughter dances over here - that would have been epic!
ReplyDeleteOoh, everyone says The Jungle Book is amazing so I want to watch it too!! Totally sweet that Natalie is excited about the Father/Daughter dance :) And glad she had a good time at the They Serve 2 dinner!!
