--To be closing on the house FRIDAY! No more hotel!
--To have already ordered cable and internet to be set up. They're coming that Monday. We're going with AT&T so I hope they're good. We got the gigablast since everyone in the house is usually on a device.
--To eventually plan on getting an trampoline for the kids in the backyard. On base housing they weren't allowed due to injuries and such. It was frustrating because hello, they're my kids, if they're injured, I'll deal with it.
--To have an awesome Father's Day gift idea here.
--To feel for the mother of the kid who fell into the gorilla exhibit. I might write a blog post about this on Thursday. I had a kid who liked to take off on me. Maybe something like this could have happened to him.
--To yell a bit when I watch Say Yes To The Dress when someone spends $9000 on one wedding dress. I know it's not my money, but holy balls! One woman actually forked over $50,000 and I was all, "That's a car! You're wearing a CAR!"
--To have made this, because as I make phone calls to officially change our address, sometimes the representative is all, "Oh, where are you originally from?" Well...
yay for no more hotel! woo hoo!! i know you're excited about that. no dinging elevators and no loud ppl--just the ones you love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief to be out of the hotel soon! I feel so bad for the gorilla mom. I'm shocked by the number of people saying it could never happen to them. It just takes a few seconds.
ReplyDeleteI've heard homeowners insurance is a beast when you have a trampoline, but that's total hearsay. I always wanted one growing up!
ReplyDeleteNever say never as a parent! Kids are sneaky!
Woo-hoo for closing!!!! I hope you guys love your new house! I seriously can't stand when people spend that much on a dress. Especially one they will only wear ONCE!
ReplyDeleteYay for getting out of the hotel!
ReplyDeleteYay for the closing! That's a huge deal!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the gorilla thing, or even watched it, because I have trouble with animals that are smarter than most humans being in a cage. But.. I'm sure it's tough to be those parents right now. The fear must have been very real.
Omg I'm so excited for you guys getting your home! I didn't realize you weren't going to live on base. That's going to be so fun fixing up your home and yard like you want it! We went with AT&T and direct tv and we love it! It's cheaper and we have no connection problems. You're going to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI bet you are super excited to be getting out of your hotel AND base housing! You can paint walls...not have to worry about nail holes AND get a trampoline!! Woo hoo!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your house!! So happy for you, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for you to move in already!!! The end is nigh! Ooh, I've always wanted a trampoline!! Fun!
ReplyDeleteYay for getting out of the hotel! You are probably incredibly excited. I know I would be!
ReplyDeleteAnd Say Yes to the Dress used to be one of my favorite shows back when we had cable. Before kids I would make a fancy dinner for myself, drink wine and sit down to watch a marathon on Friday nights while my husband would go to auctions. Oh the life LOL!
Hooray for getting out of the hotel and into a new home!
ReplyDeleteyay for closing!! I can't wait to have a blog house tour!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the closing and jealous about the trampoline. :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to hear your thoughts on the gorilla situation.
