Hey, It's Okay!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog any day of the week. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.
-----------

--To have watched the latest episode of Walking Dead in horror. Yikes. Meanwhile, my husband was all relaxed and like, "Hey, Negan told them the rules and Daryl had to act like an ass.."

--To be excited that Tom and I get an evening date this weekend. My parents are watching the kids!

--To not be sure how much candy I should buy for Halloween since it falls on a weekday. I have 6 big bags so far.

--To think it's RIDICULOUS that some California soldiers have to repay their bonus. They risk their lives for their country and this is how they're thanked?

--To be bringing a ton of Natalie's outgrown clothes to Once Upon A Child today.

--To have gone to Creamistry for the first time. It's a place where they make liquid nitrogen ice cream in front of you. It was so delicious!

  1. This is a great idea to get rid of some silly culpability we tend to have! I would add "Hey, it's okay" not to dust every week!". :)

  6. What a cute post! I'm totally okay with the HUGE bottle of Modge Podge I bought yesterday. It's pretty sad how excited I got about it, though. lol

  7. I can't blame Daryl. I don't know what I would have done in that situation but I don't know if "following the rules" is something that applies in a post apocalyptic world.

  11. You will have to let me know if OUAC is worth it or not for selling clothes to. I've heard mixed reviews. Also - what is this California nonsense?! I feel like I've been a wee bit MIA and need to read up.

  12. We bring outgrown clothing to Once Upon a Child, too! Sometimes I'm not impressed by what they offer for the clothing, but it's usually better than nothing! I'd love to try Creamistry.

  25. Will have to see if they have Creamistry in Michigan! Hubs and I are both done with Walking Dead, he literally almost got sick and I had my face covered and wouldn't watch it. Hearing it was enough. I know it's a TV show, but it crossed a line with me. Yay for date night! And yes, totally not cool on the bonus.. :(

  40. I still can't believe it about the Cali soldiers. It's nuts, but what can we do. As for the nitrogen ice cream, we have a couple of these places out here in South Florida, yet I haven't tried them.

  41. Ohh.. Creamistry. Sign me up for that!!
Cassidy had trouble with TWD and for him to have trouble watching something.. whoa.
We have an evening date tonight! Before Scarlet's parent/teacher conference. Love is in the air!

  42. The Creamistry ice cream looks delicious but I love Coldstone ice-creams! I've to buy Halloween candies as haven't got time to visit Walmart yet!

  43. I date night is exactly what my husband and I need but we seem to be so busy especially on the weekends. I always feel like I'm going to gain 5 pounds every time I cheat on ice cream or some sweet goodies. However on Halloween I'm going to tell myself hey, it's okay to cheat :)

  44. Have fun on your date! I got to see a play with my husband a few weeks ago. We even had time to get dinner and walk around the city.
We don't get trick-or-treaters but I still leave out candy just in case.
    Creamistry sounds so interesting!

This year I have one big bag of candy. I don't know what to expect. In California, I couldn't buy enough candy, living on base or off base. I'm hearing here trick or treating isn't a big thing. They go to a community event at the park. We will see what happens!
