I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple!
Hey, It's Okay....
--To be excited to see Rogue One. We'll probably be seeing it after Christmas since we're so busy.
--To think I am finally done Christmas shopping. I hope!
--To be staying a few days with my parents next week. We'll be going to the zoo to see the lights and there's a carnival with lights near her house. And we're making cookies!
--To have to take 1 dozen unfrosted cupcakes to Natalie's Christmas party on Friday. And then I'm staying to help the kids. Maybe I should bring earplugs?
--To be bringing a gift for Natalie's teacher too because she has to deal with all those kids WITHOUT earplugs. She loves Harry Potter so she's getting a framed quote, chocolate, a $25 gift card to Starbucks, and hand sanitizer because all those kids=germs. I'll share a photo on Instagram soon!
--To appreciate all the kind comments I received on my post from yesterday explaining why I think Buddy the Elf might have autism.
--To have taken Natalie to Sea World to check out the 5 million lights they have up. It was fun, and we had dinner with Santa. There was a mime there, that baffled me, but he was a funny mime, so okay! I'll have a post up soon about all our adventures there.

I think I'll go and see Rogue One (I've not seen any of the Stars Wars and I kind of refuse to - don't ask!)... Ooh, that's such a sweet gift for Natalie's teacher..! Hurrah for being done with Christmas shopping!
ReplyDeleteOh! What's the Harry Potter quote?!? (If I were a kid in Natalie's class, I'd appreciate the unfrosted cupcake! I prefer cupcakes without frosting cause I'm weird!)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great present for Natalie's teacher!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that I am done shopping. It is negative 14 degrees today, so we won't be going anywhere, haha! Earplugs would have been awesome when I did gingerbread houses with Shelby's kindergarten class!
ReplyDeleteThis post is very interesting and makes me feel happy! Christmas is coming so soon and we're all excited about it!:) Wish you a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteNathalie's teacher was so lucky to have Nat as her student. Truly there work and service was priceless but aprreciating it with her personal favorite and a gift cheque on a coffee shop was so lovely.
ReplyDeleteSounds good. You are done with Christmas Shopping that is great. Happy Holidays.

I like the idea behind this list! I am not finished with my Christmas shopping yet because we got our first big snow today, and hey, that's okay, too! We will need to go e the zoo lights, too. I'm hoping we can manage to find a not-so-freezing day to go.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your parents next week. I think it's great that you are done (or almost) with all your shopping.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be done Christmas shopping :) I'm sure her teacher is going to love the gift. Can't wait to see the picture on Instagram.

ReplyDeleteGood luck at the classroom!!! Seaworld would be amazing to see all lighted up for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteSeeing "Rogue One" is on our to-do list as well. We're thinking right before Christmas if my husband ends up getting some time off of work for the upcoming holiday!
ReplyDeleteLots of fun stuff! I like that you had fun and Sea World and who would not want to have dinner with Santa. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as though you had a lot of fun with the little ones. Now I want to sit down with Santa and discuss some things I'd like for Christmas :)

ReplyDeleteYou have the best gift for Natalie's teacher - how awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteSince I have been down sick I haven't done one Christmas Card or shopped for one present. We didn't even get the tree up this year and the outdoor decorations came down in the wind. We are currently without water and minimal electricity. It's been one of those seasons.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I can't wait to see Rogue One, I haven't had the time yet as well. I loved reading that post about Elf.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any of the star wars, so now I'll have to think about it since my son is interested.
