Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple!

Hey, It's Okay....

...To have put away all the Christmas decorations.

...To have seen Sing. It was pretty good.

...To like that the kids are back in school but hate waking up so early.

...To have been amazed by all the fireworks that were set off in my neighborhood at midnight on New Years. I was always on base before and it wasn't allowed.

...To love that I found some Christmas decorations for 70% off at Target.

...To have come up with a word of the year.

...To be ready for all my TV shows to return. I'm tired of this fall break nonsense. Come back. I'm bored.

...To have not known that these LOL dolls even existed until Natalie told me about them. We found some at Target. Basically you unwrap the giant ball and various things for the doll inside are there. Clothes. Shoes. Stickers. And the doll apparently either changes color, pees, or spits. I just...WTH? But Natalie already has two that she got with her Christmas money and is "totes hoping" for a rare one. I have a video of Natalie unwrapping one on my Facebook page if you're curious.

  5. It's OK that my Christmas decorations are still up and will likely BE up until the end of January. (Every year, I host an annual "Long Live Christmas" party in January because I'm always in denial that it's over)

  20. Guess if you decorate early then it makes sense to put away your decorations this early ... but I always kept my tree up until my birthday mid January. Also saw a tip somewhere about using decorations that have a wintery theme so you can enjoy them longer.

  21. We've just packed away all our decorations today. Not been down to B&Ms for any discounted decorations this year. Got loads last year though.

  22. So my question is why would a doll be spitting? I get the pee-pee part. But spitting? Strange indeed. LOL! No pun intended.

  23. We still haven't seen Sing yet. I'm hearing it was pretty good though. I think my girls will like it. And I'm not familiar with the LOL dolls. I guess my daughter hasn't caught on yet. Haha. I too have a word for the year. :)
