Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple!

Hey, It's Okay....

...To have not watched the Super Bowl. Yawn.

...To have gone to an Asian Festival with my mom and kids over the weekend. It was interesting. Natalie found a lot of "kawaii" stuff so she was excited.

...To be taking the kids to see The Batman Lego Movie either this weekend or next.

...To have not cared when Beyonce announced she was having twins. Her photos that she released were not to my taste, but hey, some people like posting with flowers while wearing a veil.

...To be taking Natalie to a Valentine's Dance at her school on Friday. All grades can show up, so it's not exactly going to be peaceful. I'm bringing a book and reading while she dances with her friends.

...To need more Girl Scout cookies. I already ate the ones I had. I'll be on the search for local ones!

...To think Natalie looked pretty awesome as an old lady for the 100 days of school:

She even made a video:

  6. Hahaha, so adorable :) I love the 100th day of school!
My blog has been a complete disaster over the past few days. I think the theme isn't allowing for readers to see any updates to my main homepage. SOOOO, today "I'm OK!" with the fact that I didn't write a new blog post. And I probably won't tomorrow either. Because I've been using my time to battle the plug-in and theme Gods!

  7. Haha I'm not a hardcore football fan but I watched my Patriots come back from a 3- 28 deficient for the win. That was an exciting game!! It's okay that you didn't watch it :)

  15. I was so sick of seeing Beyonce's weird looking pregnancy pictures in my feed. It's crazy how people idolize people they don't even know even when they do weird stuff.

  16. I knew as soon as I read the the title that you were talking about Glamour haha! I love Beyonce but why do people need to make a song and dance about her being pregnant xx

  22. I watched the first half of the Superbowl with my husband and then went to go read a book. My favorite part about that day is that football is over!

And we don't have GS cookies yet. My friend whose daughter I bought them from told me that they don't come in til next week. I'm so ready for some Thin Mints!

  23. I did not watch the Super bowl either. My husband kept hushing me during the commercials though

  24. Omg I love this list. I didn't watch the Superbowl either, and I couldn't care less about Beyonce's maternity pictures (which were awful, IMO). Glad Natalie found some Kawaii stuff on your outing though - I hope it helped you get a little closer to figuring out exactly what Kawaii is for her birthday list!

  25. Such a great reminder of an age old adage. I think I need to hear things like this more often. It's ok not to.... I am so loyal to people that I tend to give myself away to the point that I can no longer sustain my own health. It's ok to say....no :) Thank you

  26. I love your list! I love the picture of your daughter too. She is too cute! I don't watch sports and really don't care about Beyonce's pictures. I sound horrid. But I would like to find a girl scout for some of those mint cookies! They are awesome!

  31. This post is awesome! And yes it's totally okay not to watch the super bowl! I didn't either! I feel like this was a great reminder that we all don't need to care about the little things sometimes people expect us to care about and we should just do what we want to do! Love it!

  32. HA! That kid is so hilarious! She definitely nailed it and she looks so pretty! I don't really understand football so I don't watch it. I just wanted to see Lady Gaga's performance because people were commending her for doing a great job.

I'm actually not a total fan of B, but I love her music. Artist's performance is actually what makes the superbowl more interesting. I saw Lady Gaga's performance and it made me love her even more.
