Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude. To the lady who keeps linking up religious posts that has nothing to do with this: stop it.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to not be surprised by the split between the teacher and the student. Remember that gross woman who hooked up with her 12-year-old student? Puke. You can read more about it here.

....to think it's sweet how much Natalie loves her hamster. She's all, "Hi my precious baby, how are you today?" And she thanks me for letting her get him multiple times a day.

....to roll my eyes a bit when I inevitably get the "where do you find the time?" comment when I share a book that I recently finished. Look, I love to read. I make sure I have time to read on a daily basis. I always want to give a snarky reply, "Oh, gee, I don't know, I guess the same way you found the time to make your nails super pointy and red."

....to be proud of my son and his YouTube channel. He makes videos on life with autism, plus gaming ones. You can check it out by clicking here.

....to be skipping Fear The Walking Dead. Last season bored me to tears.

.....to have gone to see Wonder Woman. It is amazing. You must see it! Plus it's directed by a woman, so it makes it extra spectacular. My daughter was acting like Wonder Woman the other day:

  10. I legitimately put read 25 pages on my to-do list every day. What's wrong with making the things you want to do instead of the things you have to do a priority? Nothing!

  11. I read that the teacher and student are actually divorcing because he wants to sell recreational marijuana and it's hard for him to get s license because he's married to a convicted sex offender. They're still together, just split legally. Ironic, right?

  23. That's an amazing shot on the trampoline there. I love it. And I cannot say that I am all that surprised that Mary Kay and him split. Curious to know that he was the one who sought the separation. He seems to have been wondering aloud what life would have been like. Duh! All these years and it finally dawns on him or something. Ugh! Society is just messed up.

  28. To be fair the relationship lasted a whole lot longer than I expected but sleeping with a 12 year old when you are 34 is quite awful :/ I just read up on the trial, very disturbing x

  29. I love your comment about reading! That was too funny. I guess we all find time to sneak in the things we love. I love to read, but my fingernails are bare, and I like them that way!

  36. It's all okay... I believe in live and let live. Btw, my kids loved Wonder Woman.

  37. I actually got a kick out of reading some of these. The idea of writing a list of things I am okay with is something I am going to have to start doing. It is getting rid of negative thoughts forever and moving on.

  38. I hate when people question about time to read... like... none of your business? Gah. I just make the time instead of social media or something else (more like cleaning, but you know...) - I don't sleep well when I don't read before bed, so I MAKE the time! :)
