I admit it. I have a black thumb. I try to grow things and it doesn't work out. I always admire flowers. And plants. And I always think I can grow them on my own, but then....
"Mommy, this plant is all BROWN!"
Oh. Well, oops. I tried.
That's why I absolutely love when I get flowers as a gift. And I also love sending them to others. Here's why flowers are fabulous gifts!
1. Well, other people might have a black thumb too, so they'd appreciate getting flowers. Plus, most flowers come with flower food, so as long as you put that in the vase with the water, they'll LIVE for at least a week. Yay!
2. They smell and look amazing.
3. They're a wonderful surprise to receive if you aren't expecting them. My husband surprised me with flowers many times while he was deployed.
4. They can put a smile on a person's face. I know I always love to get flowers and when I send them to other people, I usually always get excited thank yous.
5. You can find a huge variety of flowers on so many different websites so they're easy to send. Plus, there's a website called First Kiss Flowers where you can find all sorts of coupons for a gorgeous bouquet. One of the sites is the fabulous 1800Flowers.
