I mean, you can't beat the unlimited salad and breadsticks. Sometimes I eat so many breadsticks and I'm full by the time my meal arrives. I love carbs. I could never go on a low carb diet.
But this time I made sure to save room for my lunch. I wanted to try the new Pizza Bowl. What is a Pizza Bowl you might ask? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like: it's pizza. In a bowl. That you can EAT. I always get excited when I can eat the items my food resides in--I feel like Willy Wonka.
The Pizza Bowl looks like this:
And guess what? It's only $8.99!
It's filled with sauce. Cheese. Tomatoes. And sausage. If you're like me, you'll want more cheese on top of it. Most of the cheese was towards the bottom of the bowl. The sausages had a good flavor and there were plenty of them. I was worried I'd get maybe three but nope!
Yup, you can totally eat the bowl. It tastes like fluffy pizza crust.
I highly recommend it. I mean, for only $8.99? Yes please. But it's only available for lunch so if you go in for dinner wanting a Pizza Bowl, you'll be out of luck.

ReplyDeleteLove Olive Garden. When I visit OG at dinner I am always up for trying new dishes. When I go at lunch I always get the Unlimited soup and salad, I never venture out. I am DEFINITELY going to try this pizza bowl. Looks so good.

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised I didn't see this on the menu the last time I was there. I feel like it would have been something i would have noticed. It looks dangerous to me. It's like the bowl of a tostada where if I just eat what's inside I'd be fine, but once I eat the bowl it's completely crazy.
