Costco Military Hour: Celebrate Active Duty Military, Veterans, and their families!

The post has been sponsored by FitFluential, but all opinions are my own.

I've been a part of a military family for a long time. My mother was in the military:

And I married a husband who joined the Air Force:

I've got to live in the following places: New Jersey, Italy, Germany, California, Belgium, Massachusetts, Nebraska, England, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and we're currently in Texas.

It's always fabulous when stores do something special for military members and their families. Costco is doing just that with their Costco Military Hour. On Saturday, March 24th at 8AM, 117 Costcos will be taking part in the Costco Military Hour. You check here to see if your local Costco is participating and learn more about the event.

If you're interested in the Costco Military Hour, you can RSVP here.

You can enjoy one full hour of shopping and sampling BEFORE the doors open to the regular public, plus you can purchase a Costco Membership! The first 100 members to arrive at the Costco Military Hour get a swag bag filled with goodies. Sounds pretty great, huh?

Again, you must RSVP here if you're interested.

I've always been a fan of Costco. They have delicious food and drinks to purchase at fair deals. Plus, a variety of other goodies. (Did you catch that episode of Modern Family where Cam took Mitchell there, and at first Mitchell thought he was too good to shop at Costco, but realized what a beautiful place it was and went crazy loading up his cart? That's me! The loading up the cart bit. Not the thinking I'm too good for Costco bit. I know I am not!)

Something I enjoy is the Premier Protein shakes. Costco is the only store who stocks the Hormone Free shakes.

They have 30g of protein, 1g of sugar, and are only 160 calories.

The flavors come in vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. While they are all tasty, my favorite is definitely chocolate.  (You can just drink right out of the package, but I personally like to drink mine from a glass!)

You can pick these up when you go to the Costco Military Hour! (RSVP here.) Or heck, if you aren't part of the military, go to Costco and pick them up anyway.

How much do you love Costco?

  10. I've never stepped foot into a Costco, because we don't have any locations nearby. I will comment that I really like when stores recognize and do special things for the military and their family.

  11. My dad was in the military and I'm very proud of it. I'm so glad there are companies out there that are as proud of the military as those living in the military families. Costco is a place that my family goes often. Something like this makes me want to give them even more business.
