Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to have a giveaway for a bottle of Vets Vites here. It's from a company who helps to support vets, which is a huge plus for me.

....to not be planning on watching much of the royal wedding. I might have the TV on it, but it's not my thing to dress up or eat special foods while it's on.

....to HAVE watched the Lifetime movie Harry and Meghan. It was pretty terrible. They made Prince William look like he was 45.

....to be excited that this week is Natalie's school play. Remember how she auditioned and was bummed that she didn't get a speaking part? Well, she's at least in the choir, and she's looking forward to singing!

....to have gone to Sea World over the weekend. My daughter always loves going on the roller coasters.

We also found these cute bags that looked like the Shamu ice cream treat:

  1. I heard that the lifetime movie was awful haha. I'm not surprised.

  2. That coaster actually looks fun. As long as it doesn't go upside down!

  3. Roller coasters are very much fun. it makes our day in a wonder world.

  4. The royal wedding definitley won't be on in our house - we could not care less about it. And we always support companies that give back to our vets!

  5. Shamu ice cream treat looks so cute! Lucky for you to be able to visit Seaworld on the weekend! Sounds like you had fun!

  6. Cool roller coaster picture! I guess I'm not watching the wedding because I don't even know when it is!

  7. All my kids were in the school plays. Fun times. Never been to sea world sounds fun

  8. It's been a while since I ride a roller coaster. We have same attraction here the Dollywood Amusement park. Its always pack esp. on summer.

  9. I'm not watching any of the royal wedding, I've never cared much about royalty or celebrities. I'd like to go back to Sea World one day, I had fun last time I was there years back.

  10. I seriously give ZEROOOOO HOOTS about this Royal CRAP. ZERO. Just two people getting married. WHOOOP-TEE-DOO! lol!

  11. I used to love roller coasters but I must be getting old because now I stay away. That ice crem looks amazing and not just for kids.

  12. I hope Natalie enjoys being in the play! I used to to love doing in plays at school. I probably won't watch the royal wedding either.

  13. It's been 4 years since we went to Sea World in San Antonio. We had a great time and your photos makes me want to go back there again.

  14. I love that bag. It's so cute. I am glad that you guys had tons of fun.

  15. I am on board with that it's more than okay to not make a big deal of the royal wedding. I find it strange to have those parties for it.

  16. I just watched the Harry and Meghan movie and thought that the two actors that played them looked a lot like them. Yeah, the actor that was William was a misstep for sure. When William and Kate got married I actually saw the entire wedding because I had a 1 week old baby and he was not an eager sleeper, so I was up feeding him watching it. This time around all three of my kids sleep, so I probably will just be catching the replay online when I wake up.

  17. I love these! I didn't watch the last royal wedding and I probably won't watch this one either. There are very few things that can get me up at 4 AM and that isn't one of them! haha

  18. I wish we had Sea World close to us. I would love to visit with my family. I know my son would love the roller coaster.

  19. Oh yea, its definitely OK not to be planning on watching so much of the royal wedding. Lol. I do wish them the best but ummmm. I'd rather be Netflixing. Haha. This post has a really hilarious edge to it, I don't know if its just me, but I found it really interesting.

  20. I heard that movie was horrible, I'm not upset I missed it. I'm the same way about the royal wedding. Just don't care much.

  21. That shamu bag looks sooo cute! My niece would love that! <3

  22. Hey, it's ok to LISTEN to a Hallmark movie while driving. Just no peeking.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm obsessed with the Royal Family and I can't wait to watch the wedding!! I have to work this weekend so no "watch party" or getting dressed up but watching it live will be enough for me!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sounds like you had a fun weekend with your daughter! I'm going to watch the wedding as well but nothing fancy. Just tuning in to see how it all goes.

  25. That bag is so cute! I'm at the point where I am so ready for school to be out, so I'm going with it's ok if my kids stay up late, lol.

  26. My two younger boys can’t wait for the amusement park this year. They are finally tall enough for all the rides but two! I heard as well the movie was a total bust

  27. I didn't watch Harry and Meghan because I felt like it was going to be way overdone. I don't remember them having that many issues haha. Did they consult with the actual Harry and Meghan before creating this? If so that would be more interesting to me

  28. I love posts like this. It's definitely ok to remind ourselves of things like this sometimes!

  29. I have a friend who is having an all out production for the Royal Wedding. It sounds fun but her party is starting at 5am and the Royal weddings starts at 7am here in Atlanta too early for me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sea World looks like a lot of fun! I'm sure you guys had a great time there. I'd probably watch the Royal wedding but also none of that fancy stuff that you mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  31. This is a great reminder that we should always be true to ourselves. I have to admit, I am excited for the royal wedding - and that's OK!

  32. Those ice cream bags that look like the treat are so cute. My son wasn't tall enough for the big coaster at Sea World. He's become chicken though, so it might not matter if he grows before we go again or not. ;)

  33. I supposed to not watch the royal wedding, but because of work, I must watch it! Still a good source of gossips, and little drama :D

  34. Since it will be so early in the morning and I will be prepping for our yardsale, the wedding will be on just so I can see her dress. Good Luck to your daughter!

  35. I love the concept of "hey it's okay!" Your daughter is gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Is it okay if I didn't realise there was a royal wedding? I don't even own a tv so I definitely won't be watching it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It does look like it was a fun roller coaster. So I'm with your daughter on this one. I won't be watching the Royal wedding much either honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I have tried a roller coaster ride and will never do it again. it was like my brain is coming out. Lol!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Congratulations to Natalie by the way. Well I suppose it is not a pretty cool movie to watch. That looks like an exciting roller coaster ride to try.
