Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to hope Natalie has fun at her dance workshop on Friday. She gets to learn some dances from some high schoolers. She's been doing dance in middle school since you can take it instead of PE.

....to have gone to Trader Joe's over the weekend. I seem to skip all the healthy stuff and go straight for the cookie butter and candy. Also, some people have been finding Pancake Bread. My store didn't have it. I asked. They said "not yet, but check back next month."

....to have not participated in the how hard has age hit you challenge on Facebook. I might be one of the few!

....to have entered to win two VIP tickets to see the closing night of Hamilton in Puerto Rico. YES, Lin-Manual is Hamilton! You also get airfare and a 2 night hotel accommodation, plus you can hang out at the cast party. The money goes towards to support the Hispanic Federation AND the Flamboyant Arts Fund. You can donate and enter here. 50 winners will win! And if you don't win, well, at least you know your money went to a good cause.

....to have found this photo of Natalie when she was tiny. I always taught her about Tudor history from a young age. Her middle name is Elizabeth after Elizabeth I, Henry and Anne Boleyn's daughter who ended up kicking butt and not putting up with man crap.

  2. I too have not done the Facebook age thing as I don't have any photos from ten years ago of me on my current computer. My fiend did this challenge the best, he showed a sperm in the first photo.

  5. Trader Joe's is about 45 minutes from me, so I only go about once a month and I ALWAYS stock up on cookie butter when I am there...obviously. I need to look for that pancake bread the next time I go, though.

  16. Oh Natalie looks so beautiful, its a good idea to learn your kids the love of reading from young age.

  17. My kid loves Hamilton. He added a Hamilton station on our Pandora Radio. The school is supposed to perform a couple of songs from the play in our Spring musical.

  18. You really should come up with a cute jingle "Hey it's okay" to go to the tune of "Hey you're welcome" from Moana. That's what I think of everytime I read these posts of yours!

  19. This is such a great story. I love seeing her reading, it is inspiring.

  20. I miss living about ten minutes from a Trader Joe's. It was always cool to see what new products I could find there. Usually junk food.

  32. Oh I had to post my challenge pics! My very first Facebook profile was exactly 10 years ago and my little girl is in the pic with me and she was so itty-bitty. I couldn't resist resharing it.

  35. Yay! So happy seeing Natalie holding the book Six Wives of Henry 8. I've read that book last year and definitely one of my favourite. I hate Anne Boleyn though. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  36. I also read that book and watched movies and tv series about the Tudor Family. It was good and now makes me wonder if there is still (somehow) a descendants of Tudor.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I need to check it out pancake bread. Since she like dance you can encourage her. I am not fan of TV series though, but my daughter likes princess movies.
