Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

....to still be on the search for toilet paper. This is getting ridiculous.

.....to be on TikTok. I'm trying to make better videos. My account is here. I'll follow you back!

.....to hope homeschooling goes okay. My son will do fine, but my daughter gets distracted so easily. One minute she's doing work, the next she's doing a jig in the front yard because she "felt inspired."

....to think it was sweet that many of Natalie's middle school teachers came through the neighborhood so they could see their students. At this point Natalie says she misses school, "even math" which is huge for her.

.....to have done a cotton candy taste challenge here. My son edited the video. He's missing his AV class so I told him we could do silly videos and he can edit. Anything to keep busy!

.....to love how Natalie decorated her Crocs. We need all the color we can get in these times!

  2. I'm still working. Over the weekend I had 3 days off, which normally I would take full advantage of. Except I couldn't go anywhere or do anything. So today I go back to work and I can't believe I miss it! I totally feel Natalie's pain.

  7. I am thankful that prior to all of this... I had toilet paper IN STOCK. I would be super nervous if we didn't have any! LOL!

  9. Hopefully they will replenish the toilet paper soon. I’m not sure if all of our stores are out of stock yet however, I can imagine it’s getting close to it.

  10. Sometimes people need permission to just be OK with where they are. Thanks for giving this message to people that need to hear it.

  12. We are still on the look out for loo roll as well, last 2 deliveries have been minus it with no replacements, my parents dropped us off some on the doorstep at the weekend to keep us going.

I've seen some videos of teachers driving through the streets in America that is so sweet!

  13. This toilet paper craziness is getting to be ridiculous. It's so irritating that people are hoarding for no reason.

  17. Most stores in America get deliveries and restock on Tuesdays. So maybe be available on Tuesday at your local stores to see if toilet paper makes the shelves. I actually saw this last Tuesday in my city, but I had bought mine from Costco about a week before all of this happened so I am good for some time yet. And I know a lot of people need it more than we do.

  19. I feel the toilet paper struggle! My husband luckily found some after asking the back if they had any in stock. Another tip: Ask when they get their shipment and what time so you can try then! Good luck!

  20. This is really getting a bit crazy. I just had to make the decision to cancel my bridal shower but I am hoping it all clears up for the wedding. I am also thinking of everyone who has been laid off from their job. So scary!

  21. My mom said that their stores had toilet paper in stock. Hopefully, it will become easier to find soon. It looks like you are finding ways to stay busy and have fun!

  22. I just started TikTok myself. I never thought I'd want it, but I'm started to actually enjoy it. Keeps you busy for the time being too.

  28. Homeschooling hasn’t gone so great. I don’t have enough computers so I had to order a new chromebook. It’s smaller than mine but it will do the trick. I found it for less than $75. I’m probably one of the only weirdos who doesn’t like windows computers. I’ll never go back honestly.

    Her crocs are adorable.
