HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have been irritated with the farewell to Alex Karev episode on Grey's Anatomy. That's not Alex. I don't know what fool left, but that wasn't him.
.....to hope I don't lose my mind during Spring Break this week. I don't entertain my kids daily like some parents...I tell them to go read a book if they tell me they are bored.
.....to not be doing much for Spring Break. We're staying in the area. I do know I want to try those new cereal inspired pancakes at IHOP at some point.
.....to have picked up the new Dr. Pepper Cream Soda. I liked it but I expected it to have more of the cream soda taste. It mostly tasted like regular Dr. Pepper to me.
....to have taken my son to the local community college for preview day. He's going there in the fall and is excited about it. It truly is a peaceful area, which is perfect for my son, since he has autism.
beautiful
ReplyDeletegreat post!thank you for your share!
what is a luxhairshop prom hairstyles for medium hair
I was annoyed with Grey's as well. I understand the actor left suddenly and the writers weren't left with much, but to have him ditch Jo and go back to Izzy just made me so sad. And to have Izzy use Alex's sperm to have his babies and she never even told him... I just can't.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the heads up on the Dr. Pepper. I LOVE cream soda but I've stopped drinking pop, so I was wondering if it would taste good. I think I'll save myself the calories and pass.
I see in the comment above me that Alex went back to Izzy, ok that's kind of amusing!
ReplyDeleteOur spring break isn’t until April. Last year we stayed pretty local though.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Learning to "be okay" with our lives is important. I think too many of us overly focus on the positive and negative aspects of life.
ReplyDeleteI never enjoyed those school tours and fairs but we have to be informed for our children. I have not even thought much about spring break so i better get going.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with your son going to college in the fall - exciting and I hope spring break isn't too stressful for you.
ReplyDeleteI too hope that the kids don't drive me crazy during spring break. The weather will be warmer so I will get them outside.
ReplyDeleteI've had some devastating news today and I want so much to be able to say, "Hey, it's okay," but I'm afraid it's not.
ReplyDeleteHey it's ok that my travel plans have been disrupted... everything happens for a reason. I'm just interested to see what happens now.
ReplyDeleteA bloody great post
ReplyDeleteThat community college looks so nice! I wish the one I went to would have had more peaceful areas to rest and study!
ReplyDeleteIt's totally okay not to do much for spring break. It's perfectly alright to take it easy and relax. I'll be doing the same lol
ReplyDeleteWhat is with these soda companies trying flavors that aren't their flavors? First Sprite Ginger and now Dr. Pepper cream soda?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on staying local this spring break. There's so much you can explore in your own town!
ReplyDeleteI need to go back to Grey's Anatomy season episode? I am not on track.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to be doing college stuff with Tommy! And what a beautiful community college campus. Ours are not that nice.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you find community collage for your son. Yes, it's ok to get all out sometimes ;)
ReplyDeleteA preview day at college sure makes it real, doesn't it? Lots of exciting things happening.
ReplyDeleteThis post came at a great time. I love the idea of just knowing that it's okay!
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for the spring break too! I am thinking of things that I can do with my daughters!
ReplyDeleteIt's ok if I spend all day helping my son with his math and don't get other things done! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is totally okay to do all of these things. :) I'm gla your son found a college that suits him. And I hope you enjoy your low key spring break!
ReplyDeleteReading books when kids are bored is such the best idea. Hope you will have a perfect spring break.
ReplyDeleteIt is cool you took your son to see the college, so important they get familiar with the place and see what all the things that happen in there are like
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to hear that your son is going to college. Education is important, getting familiar to the environment is also important.
ReplyDeleteGetting an education is very important! Congrats to you and your son.
ReplyDeleteHey it's okay to have a surprise cheat day. The fried chicken is so good even I couldn't resist it.
ReplyDeleteIt's completely ok! (I love the feature in Glamour magazine, it always cheers me up!) I hope your son enjoys community college when the time comes.
