What Will YOU Do After The Quarantine?

At the moment, Texas has a Stay In Place order until April 30th. Obviously this could change. I'm expecting it to change but I am still trying to think positive. Maybe it won't change? Didn't the psychic Sylvia Browne say that we'll have this virus in 2020 and it will disappear as quickly as it came? Maybe that will happen? *Fingers crossed*

ANYWAY.

Here's a list of things I know I'll be doing with the quarantine is over.

Shop properly at Target. I'm talking long walks down the aisles, staring at various clothing pieces and muttering "this is cute" or "what on Earth?"

Go to a restaurant. I miss it! I have still be supporting places and ordering food to go, but it's not the same. The food is usually cold and sometimes it's not prepared correctly.

Travel! I do hope we can travel over the summer because I have trips planned.

Celebrate my son's high school graduation. School is done for the year. Graduation might happen in July. If he doesn't have a graduation, we'll have a family one. I'll get kazoos and we'll all play the graduation song as he walks down the lawn in his cap and gown.

Be more thankful for toilet paper. I finally found some but dang, it was crazy for a while. I still haven't found lysol wipes.

See a movie in a theater. Granted, most of the summer movies we had planned on seeing have been pushed back, but maybe if this quarantine is lifted there will be one we want to see. For now, we've been watching movies at home. I introduced my daughter to the Austin Powers movies.

What about you? What will you be doing after the quarantine?

  1. I will be doing all of the same things you talked about. My boys and I are all dying to eat in a restaurant and go to a movie. And to have a day at the mall would be heaven on earth! We are currently planning a beach vacation. I'm not sure when but hopefully in the next month or so we will have everything planned out.

  2. I love how Target is first on your list. It's first on mine too, plus taking my kids to school.

  3. I'll go and see my grandparents for sure. My grandfather hasn't been very well lately and after losing two grandparents last year, I'm really scared it's going to happen all over again. x

  4. I so relate to this! I saw this meme on instagram that said, "Had I known the last time I shopped at Target would have been the last time, I would have shopped a little harder!" LOL. I totally feel your pain with Target withdraws.

  8. I want to go to a mall and shop clothes for me ,my hubby and kids without fearing the virus and crowds. I want to go out and have a meal in a restaurant with my family . It seems as if we have taken a lot of things for granted . We will all learn to appreciate these simple pleasures of life now!

  21. I can't wait for the quarantine to be over! I have a lot of things I really want to do outside. But as soon as quarantine is over, maybe it's safer to stay few more days at home. To make sure everything is well.

  22. I love this! It gives us something to look forward to. I for sure, am excited to see friends and go traveling again. Especially to my hometown to visit with all my cousins and family. And then once I get all my reunion stuff done, I'm excited to travel again for fun - with my family! Stay safe, and I can see the finish line somewhere in the horizon... soon...

  24. We really miss sports, and stuff like hiking and camping. I think I will still be anxious about things like movies and indoor spaces for a while, but eventually it will be nice to shop again.

  25. I am excited to meet my first grandchild. She was born earlier this month, and we haven't been able to see her in person yet.

  26. I really love the fact that you will be taking your time walking down the aisles. Seeing that the buses here have unlimited travel for $7.00 a day I may just hop on several buses and get to destinations that I have never been just because. I might even spend an entire day at IKEA with family and have breakfast, lunch and dinner just because.

  27. We'll be doing most of these too. I still don't understand the craziness about toilet paper, though. LOL. -LYNNDEE

  33. I'm looking forward to being able to travel again. I miss campfires and dinner parties too.

  34. I am going to go back to doing my regular photoshoots and meetings! Restaurants, nails, and hair are also on the list.

  37. When the boarders are open I will go on vacation anywhere. I miss traveling so much. I was supposed to travel in April, duh.
As soon as strict quarantine is lifted I will go to the local park and will walk there with my dogs. I miss it badly (we are not allowed to go to the parks at all). I also miss eating out, I can't wait to have my coffee in my favorite cafe.
And I miss my family. I can't wait to be able to hug my grandpa, we talk a lot on the phone lately

  38. Waaah! I want a cold splash of water in a pool then roam around a nice resort. Ooopps and go to the mall hahah! Stay Safe!

  39. I'm going to eat out, go for drinks,go on days out with the kids and I think we'll look into some staycations before we start travelling out of the country again, just to see what part of the country that we overlook with our need to get away all of the time. I have found so much joy in the simple things around the home that I think I could possibly enjoy some stacations which we don't usually do very often.

  40. I hope to travel as much as possible after quarantine. I miss it so much!

  41. I can't wait to go to the beach. Definitely eat out at a nice restaurant. But I think the first thing I will probably do is go to an amusement park and then go to see a movie in a movie theater. I miss that. Actually, the first thing I hope to do is just see my daughter. IT's been in almost 2 months.

  42. I can't wait to go to a salon and get my hair cut. I'm so looking forward to that day haha. But I'm also looking forward to being able to go back to work and to travel and eat at restaurants again. While I haven't minded being in quarantine that much, I still look towards the day when staying home is once again the option, not the norm.
