To All The Teachers

To all the teachers out there: thank you. Thank you for all you do.

My son has autism, and we've had so many wonderful teachers throughout the years helping him along the way.

My daughter can be wild and lazy at times, and she's had patient teachers who knew she could be so much better than what she was putting out.

Thank you for being there for all the children who need you. School is sometimes the only safe place they have. Thank you for going above and beyond and using your money to buy so many supplies. Thank you for doing this for the love of your students and not for the pay, though I do believe you should be paid so much more.

It does not go unnoticed. Especially now, when things are so different. But one day things will go back to normal, and the students will be noisy and begging their teachers to do a Tik Tok dance again, and maybe, just maybe, more people will realize how amazing teachers truly are.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

My kids put together this video for all the fantastic teachers out there:
