HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to hope virtual learning gets smoother. On the first day the system crashed! Plus Zoom was down. My son's first college class was canceled because Zoom wouldn't work. It seems to be working smoother this evening at least so Natalie was able to get some assignments done.
....to respect teachers so much. I always did before, but now I do times 1000 because I know this can't be easy. Thank you to all the teachers out there! We know you're learning like we are!
.....to have made sure my kids learned something by letting them watch Drunk History. I mean, it's real events. Only the people telling the events happen to be drunk. But still. It's something. My daughter loves the Alexander Hamilton ones.
.....to feel like I need this giant Venus Fly Trap at Michaels. It looks like something from Little Shop Of Horrors.
....to have bought the Diet Coke in the cool packing at Galaxy's Edge in Hollywood Studios. I mean, I had to!
Zoom being down on the first day must have been so frustrating! We start next week.
ReplyDeleteI hope virtual learning gets smoother for you guys as well. We start school mid-September.
ReplyDeleteI still do not know exactly what my son will be doing in September. My daughter is away at school but a lot of itis on-line, but I agree teachers are so special
ReplyDeleteI miss having the kids in the house, but when it comes to the remote learning thing, I'm glad they're not here on that level. I don't think I could do it.
ReplyDeleteI hope virtual learning gets easier for you soon. I don't blame you, I would have had that coke too!
ReplyDeleteMy boys are doing virtual learning and they are in their 2nd week. The system is slow but it is getting better.
ReplyDeleteI hope virtual learning gets better. It's such a new thing, that it just takes time to get used to. My mom is a teacher and she started last week. It's so stressful for her because it's not fun to keep the kids apart.
ReplyDeleteTeacher deserve so much recognition and I can tell you in Italy they get even less. I can imagine how frustrating zoom not working it must have been so glad it's fixedd
ReplyDeleteOh gosh what a nightmare for the first day! I really hope it all gets so much easier for all involved as it becomes used more.
ReplyDeleteIt’s ok to be learning as your kids are. You can’t know it all!
ReplyDeleteTotally respect teachers! Our kids went back to in person school today. Hope your virtual learning gets better and maybe they will be able to go back soon.
ReplyDeleteVirtual learning is a lot more hands on on my end for my kindergartener than I expected. Some days it feels like I opted to home school. Hopefully it gets easier!
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting how the new school year will be. Hope it will be better!
ReplyDeleteThis whole Fall is going to look so different and it's okay to understand that and give yourself a break as needed.
ReplyDeleteDrunk History is great! I love watching that show, maybe I need to make my kid sit down and watch it.
ReplyDeleteI hope that virtual learning gets smoother as you go! Everyone is leaning how to navigate it as they go!
ReplyDeleteI respect teachers so much more now too. I can't get over this new way of life for students and teachers.
ReplyDeleteit is totally ok. and you know, I would have totally bought this Diet Coke too!
ReplyDeleteI love drunk history! It's amazing and most of the time fairly accurate. I will 100% be making sure my kids get a slice of it.
ReplyDeleteYa know, I'm totally worried about Zoom next week :(
ReplyDeleteYes I am struggling with two kids virtual learning. It is literally taking toll on me.
