I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have not done a whole lot over Labor Day weekend. I did semi organize my daughter's closet, which was frightening.
......to currently be reading All Adults Here by Emma Straub. It's about a family dealing with their own dramas.
.....to be ready for Halloween. I've said that before, but I am ready to decorate!
.....to have taken Natalie to Dunkin because she was all "Charli has a drink out!" I was all, "Who now?" It turns out she's a Tik Tok star and I guess she collaborated with Dunkin. (The drink, by the way is cold brew with whole milk and caramel.)
.....to have gone to Spirit Halloween. It's such a fun store. Obviously you can't try anything on, but it's still a neat spot to visit.

My kids don't like Charli!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure who Charli the TicTok star is, but glad Natalie got to try her drink!
ReplyDeleteIt's DEFINITELY okay to be ready for Halloween! We're already in the spirit!
ReplyDeleteI want to say I did nothing this past week end but that would not be true. I had fun harvesting prickly pears from cactus plants.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely ready for Halloween and cooler weather in general
ReplyDeleteI put my fall decorations up, this weekend was the best time so I went for it! And I needed something to be happy about since last week almost took me out! I'm definitely okay with it!
ReplyDeleteSpirit Halloween sounds like such a fun store, I would probably buy way to much if I went there.
ReplyDeleteI’m ready for Halloween as well. I may just start putting up decor.
ReplyDeleteI love fall and Halloween. I've started decorating for fall and Halloween already :)
ReplyDeleteI went to the Halloween store last year for the first time and the prices scared me. I did love all that they had there and did buy a mask for my middle son (A venom mask) for last year's Halloween. We won't be trick or treating this year, not knocking door to door right now with the way everyone's being to each other. I am ready to decorate for Halloween at home though, and I'm very curious why your daughter's closet was frightening?! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy 11 year old just told me about that drink at Dunkin. I asked her who that was too lol.
ReplyDeleteI organized the house this weekend and took out my Halloween decoration! It's okay =)
ReplyDeleteThese are all okay! I've got the mom guilt normally - and I'm ready to just say "it's okay! Moving right along!" Thanks for the reminder that it really is okay...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree it's fine to be ready for Halloween, i personally can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWe're looking forward to Halloween too. Whatever it brings. We ordered costumes already, and we'll probably just have some treats and candy at home and watch a "scary" kids movie.
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to these it’s okay posts. Cause we really need to stop being so hard on ourselves for everything and this is a great reminder.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time ever, we knocked out hundreds of mini projects all over the house and yard. I'm so happy about it!
ReplyDeleteI love halloween and the kids costumes. Problem I hearing is that halloween is cancelled due to COVID, shucks!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm not going to feel guilty about not doing much over the Labor Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou are ready to Halloween! This is awesome. I am not ready for Fall yet!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Times are tough right now but we have so much to look forward to with the holidays coming up.
ReplyDeleteSince I don't do any halloween celebrations, I would say it's okay to start getting ready for some Fall decor and for the holidays!! I
ReplyDeleteA lot of people think about Halloween now and I also think it's ok. Even I was thinkong what costume to get for my son
ReplyDeleteYes I too thinking abot Halloween as that is most important for my kids so it is okay to start getting ready with some fall decor.
ReplyDeleteI never watched tiktok and now it is banned in India so I dont know who is. In India we dont celebrate haloween but I had celerated it in Italy. Although fall decor is my favorite. Glad Natalie got her drink...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to go to Spirit Halloween! It's such a fun store and totally gets me in the mood for fall!
