What To Eat At The Food And Wine Festival At Epcot

I absolutely love the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. There are so many different food stations set up in the World Showcase. I suggest you bring your appetite, because you will fill up. The food prices mostly range from $5-$10. The alcohol is slightly more.

We started off at Mexico.

We tried the Pork Tostado, which was a win. Fabulous flavors! It sort of looks like poop, but it tasted wonderful, I promise!

We also tried the Ribeye Taco. Also a hit. If I had to pick one, I'd choose the tostado simply because I felt like it was more flavorful.

China had some great offerings:

We tried the Chicken Dumplings, and everyone loved it. Natalie especially. She ended up getting them again before we left Epcot.

We also tried the Mongolian Beef Bao Bun. The meat was tender and again, the flavors were delicious.

Off to Africa!

I don't like seafood, but the kids and my mom do, so they go the Piri Piri Skewered Shrimp. I DID try some of the citrus flavored couscous and was impressed.

I was excited about Germany since I tend to love German food:

We got the bratwurst, which was okay. Not my favorite:

And the apple strudel, which was pretty amazing. The sauce made it!

Oh, and Mom liked the Riesling and was amused at how tiny the glass was. But she said it was good:

By the way, it's pretty empty at Food & Wine during the week. Weekends can be crowded. But if you go around 11 when it opens, it's wonderful.

We didn't eat in the America area:

In Morocco, there was some scrumptious food:

Mom tried the Mimosa Royale and I had a sip as well. It was delish!

The Spicy Hummus fries had a great flavor and yes, they did have a kick to them. We would get these again for sure!

The Beef Kefta Pocket was just okay for me, but my son really enjoyed it:

Stop and take some photos in the Morocco Fez House. It's gorgeous!

France is normally one of my favorite spots, but the menu wasn't as impressive to me. However, I kept hearing how fabulous the canard confit a l'orange was. I had never tried duck before, so I was intrigued:

Here it is and it was amazing! I'd get it again. The kids loved it too. Again, it doesn't look like much, but I promise, you won't be sorry if you order this:

Of course we ate in the boulangerie patisserie as well and Remy was too cute!

We didn't get anything Brazil because we were starting to get full but I bet the pork belly is spectacular:

There's a tent set up near Canada with even more offerings. Plus there's A/C so it's a lovely place to relax from the heat. Here's the various menus:

We ended up with the Frozen Apple Pie, which was one of my fave desserts. It truly tasted like an apple pie:

And we tried the Liquid Nitro Cake Pop with M&Ms. It was cool to watch them make it. The flavor was just okay for me though. But cool to watch it smoke. I wanted some mac & cheese but it seemed like a long line, so I passed.

In Japan, there was some interesting choices:

We went for the Teriyaki Chicken Bun which was okay for me, but the kids really enjoyed it:

We all loved the Frothy Ramen. It's cold, but it has wonderful flavors. But it's served in a fun way:

We always have to check out the store in Japan:

I love pasta, so I was excited to check out Italy:

We got La Classica, and let me tell you, it was gone in seconds. Look at all that bacon!

Our final stop was the Citrus Blossom. I wanted to get the Orange Bird sipper!

Here he is! He was filled with an orange cream shake which tasted exactly like a creamsicle:

My mom tried the Orange Sunshine Wine Slushy and it was also flavorful:

We did skip Canada since we already tried the beer cheese soup (delish) and the meat dish a few years ago. (We found the meat tough.)

There were some food booths that weren't open yet. I believe more choices will be available in October.

Our top favorites? The Frothy Ramen in Japan, La Classica in Italy, and canard confit a l'orange in France. Mind you, the other items were good, but these stood out to us. For a sweet treat, you must get the Frozen Apple Pie in the tent area.

It took us about two hours to get through all the booths and eat. I hope I can make it back to another Food & Wine Festival because I do love eating and trying new things. Have you been to theFood & Wine Festival?
