Did You Survive The Bath & Body Works Candle Sale?

Maybe you aren't aware. But Bath & Body Works does this Candle Sale every year. The price has gone up over the years, of course, but it's still a great deal. This year the 3 wick candles were $9.95, which means you save $14.55. Yes, they had them online on Friday, but they go fast. Lots of people reported the site crashing. 

Obviously, yes, there is a pandemic going on. So this means there would be social distanced lines because only so many people can be in the store at once. And the store is rather small to begin with.

I waited about 40 minutes. The reason why there was a long line?

And I was fine with it. I'd rather not be shoved into a store with people around me.

I was happy when I finally saw the entrance:

And inside I found lots of candles with more being restocked. I usually just go for scents that sound appealing. I didn't want to risk pulling my mask down and smelling them. Or touching a whole bunch of candles. 

I had coupons I could use on top of the sale. There's a 20% off coupon, and a $10 off $40. Plus I had a coupon for a free gift. You cannot use coupons online with the candle sale, unfortunately. 

Anyhow, these are the candles I bought. I'm not kidding when I say there were people walking out with bags and bags of them. I like the candles, but not like that. I got that black and white bag free. 

I decided to try Fresh Balsam first, and I wasn't disappointed:

I was impressed with how the workers in my Bath & Body Works store kept everyone safe. I saw them wiping down areas in the store when I was there and they had a ton of patience. I know it can't be easy to work that sale. 

So did you get any candles?
