I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
.....to need to start wrapping Christmas presents. I have a pile going and I need to get them wrapped so the kids don't find everything.
.....to have put up the outside decor. My husband usually does it, but he's deployed, so I took care of it. I think I hooked up the inflatables. I think. I guess we'll see if it gets windy if they blow away or not.
.....to have booked our next Disney World trip. It'll be this summer and I cannot wait.
.....to currently be reading The Brilliant Life Of Eudora Honeysett. It's about a woman in her 80s who wants to end her life on her terms. She's in her 80s and they allow it in Switzerland. She doesn't want to end up in diapers or in a nursing home. But then she meets 10 year old Rose and starts talking more with her neighbor Stanley, who is widowed. Will she still decide to end her life?
.....to have sent out all my Christmas cards. Yes! This is what they looked like:
I really liked Eudora Honeysett. I wish I could book a Disney trip!
ReplyDeleteI need to check that book out. It sounds interesting. Those Christmas cards are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I need to make a "hey it's okay" post... because there is quite a bit I need to tell myself it's okay about.
ReplyDeleteI have just decorated our front porch. We thought we were going to be moving so I was putting it off. And I have yet to even order our Christmas cards. But I have all the presents wrap until more show up.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing hopeful idea!
ReplyDeleteWe are traveling to see my mom this Christmas. So no decorating for us
ReplyDeleteIs it okay that I haven't sent out my Christmas cards??
ReplyDeleteThat book sounds great! I'll have to look that one up!
ReplyDeleteIt's okay that I don't have all my holiday shopping done yet or anything wrapped. It's early!
ReplyDeleteThat book sounds so good! It kind of reminds me of Me Before You. Have you read that one?
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to visit Disney! I miss traveling so much.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I already started wrapping. I tend to be excited whenever December arrives.

ReplyDeleteThe Christmas cards look really lovely. I don't send mine anymore, such a pity x
ReplyDeleteThat's great you put up the outdoor Christmas decorations. If my husband can't do something for some reason, I do it. I installed a bunch of appliances for this reason! :)
ReplyDeleteWe haven't sent out cards for the past few years but I think my friends and family assume we still do but cut them off of the list. We should probably start doing it again.
ReplyDeleteI am finishing up my Christmas presents list and about start wrapping. taking care of decorations sounds pretty nice as well
ReplyDeleteI haven't wrapped up any gifts yet. I usually wait til I have everything and then I start wrapping them all up. I'll probably be waiting one more week before I do my wrapping.
