I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
.....that we have snow. Actually, strike that, it's NOT okay. I live in San Antonio. This isn't supposed to happen.
.....to have hated that the power was out from 4AM until 3 PM. It was pretty cold in the house but other places have had it worse: they've been without power for over 24 hours. It's ridiculous right now.
.....to be ready for the warmth. It's supposed to be in the 60s this weekend. I just keep reminding myself to get through this and then it'll be warm.
....to be glad that the kids have an actual snow day on Tuesday. Since there are so many electricity outages, virtual learning was canceled as well. Update: it was just announced that they'll be off Wednesday as well.
.....to at least be happy the snow made my kids happy. Natalie made all sorts of Tik Tok videos and was in awe of the snow. Granted, she's seen it before when we lived in Oklahoma, and we did get a little in 2017 here in Texas, but this was real snow after so long without it:
The snow and the cold weather has slipped away here thankfully. As I get older I look forward to the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same here with rolling blackouts and a snow day today. But it's -7 out.
ReplyDeleteWe've been without power for a full 26 hours at this point. I'm so over the cold AND San Antonio's CPS Energy at this point.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! I love the idea of listo g things you're okay with. On the weather side, we don't even have rain here in Southern California!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you always make the best out of every situation even a power black out! I do not mind the snow and my husband has a snow blower that has so far worked well this season.
ReplyDeleteI heard about the power outage. A lot of people were concerned because all of their food spoiled.
ReplyDeleteI hope your power stays on. Enjoying the snow can be a lot of fun if you can go back inside and warm up!
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather for sure. We had snow, ice, and freezing temps here. The kids were already off school but we have not left the house since Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI’m hoping that everyone is okay. I watched the news earlier today and I was in complete shock.
ReplyDeleteI so love the snow and I did miss my winter holidays so much this year.
ReplyDeleteIt was cold for days but nothing over here, very sad about it lol
Wow, I am at loss for words, I love snow though...
ReplyDeleteI'm from Wisconsin, so we get plenty of snow here. I'm ready for the warm weather though. It has been below zero for the past couple weeks and it's currently snowing right now too. It's suppose to warm up this weekend though thankfully.
ReplyDeleteGosh things must have been hard without power when its so cold. I like it when it snows as it looks beautiful. But I don't like the cold!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I hate is power outages as it ruins so much in your freezer but with the cold its even worse.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how much snow and cold has been happening in the south. Glad to hear you got your power back on!
ReplyDeleteOhh wow, snow is awesome and cool, and regretting the moment you step outside and felt the chill through your bones. Hope everything will go well.
ReplyDeleteI think this year we have snow everywhere. I think it's better this way.
ReplyDeleteWe got so much snow it is unreal. I made sure the kids and I played out in it!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is getting colder and colder especially where I live!!! I am not complaining, i love the snow.
ReplyDeleteActually, where I am from -- we are really okay. The weather predictions for this weekend was a very strong storm. But it passed our city! How happy is that! Praise God!
