Okay, so on Valentine's Day it was like 30 as a high. Which I know is considered warm for a lot of states. I lived in Wyoming. I remember the cold.
However, my body has acclimated to Texas weather, and it's confused. It does not like this cold. And look. I mean. Yay?
As you all know, I do not like cooking, so we got a lot of treats that other people made on Valentine's Day. We got cupcakes from Smallcakes:
And pizza from Pizza Hut. We tried the new Detroit Pizza and it was okay, but too doughy for me:
The kids got gifts. This was for my son:
This was for my daughter:
My husband sent flowers:
And this unique gift. He said he typed in flowers+ Baby Yoda on Amazon and it popped up:
I also love flowers in cookie form. This is from Haby's Bakery in Castroville, Texas:
It was a fun day. And now we get to deal with snow, which confuses everyone in Texas. Wish us luck!

It looks like you had a fun Valentine's Day. My other half sent me flowers as well, as we couldn't be together on this day, and I bought myself some Ferrero Rochers.
ReplyDeleteIt's been cold here too. It dropped to -7°c with a low in Scotland of -25. We didn't do anything for Valentine's (although I'm not a massive fan anyway), being locked down means we stay at home so no date night.

ReplyDeleteWe were below zero here in WI, I can't wait for the 30's again. I know it is different when you aren't used to it though. My sister lived in WI her up until she moved to TX 2 years ago and said it is just awful! Stay warm and glad you still had a great v-day.
