Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

....to have been surprised when I saw parents bring their toddler to A Quiet Place II and have that toddler watch a movie on their phone the entire time. They were in my row, but a few seats down, so the light from the phone wasn't distracting for me, but had they been closer I'd have said something. I thought it was incredibly rude.

.....to have enjoyed A Quiet Place II! I highly recommend it. We're hoping there is a third!

.....to be tired of all the humidity. I jog in the mornings, so when I step out and it's already stifling hot, I am not pleased. But that's what Texas is like in the summer months.

....to wish people would keep their dogs on leashes. When I am jogging, some people don't, so their dogs get in my path, and it's irritating. Plus, oddly I've noticed most people with their dogs are busy on their phones so they aren't even paying attention and seem surprised when I say, "Pay attention to your dog, please," as I jog past.

.....to love this light up rainbow from Target. They have Pride items at their Dollar Spot, which is awesome. I am a sucker for rainbows and for Pride, so it's perfect. This was only $5 and it is gorgeous!

  1. I can relate to the humidity. It's awful here. I can barely walk outside.

  3. Oh, man, I wish my neighbor would keep his dog on a leash. I have nothing against animals. In fact, I'm a HUGE animal lover. The problem is that my dog is afraid of his dog.

  4. I too hate people who do not leash their dog. The part of them saying the dont wont hurt me is annoying as I dont want the dog jumping on me.

  5. I agree with you with dogs and leash,I swear some dog owners are so careless. When I'm with mine, he's always on a leash because he is not trained to go without

  8. I hope the toddler didn't look up during the Quiet Place II. That seems like it could be traumatizing. I'm in agreement with you about people and their dogs, the dogs should be their top priority, not the phone.

  9. It's a huge pet peeve of mine to see dogs off leash. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of dogs, and people just don't think. My dogs have been lunged at and were only saved by me yanking on our leash.

  10. That's why I prefer watching movies alone in my room, too much distraction in other places.

  11. Yeah, sometimes dogs are annoying and just so noisy when you're busy but they're still cute, lol.

  13. I'd also be annoyed when I see light coming from a mobile phone inside a cinema. Yes, that's rude, and I thought toddlers shouldn't be allowed inside cinemas that show movies such as A Quiet Place II.

  14. I can't wait to watch A Quiet Place II too! It's great to turn back to cinemas!
