HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be glad school is going well for the kids. Both like all of their teachers, which is a plus. Sometimes there is always one that they are iffy about but this year it seems like all the teachers are fantastic.
.....to hope everyone dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida is doing okay. I know there was lots of destruction and power outages.
......to not be doing anything for Labor Day except sleep in.
.....to currently be reading The Guncle by Steven Rowley. It's about Patrick, who is also known as GUP (gay uncle Patrick) to his niece and nephew. He has to take them in when their mother dies and their father goes to rehab. Patrick is very much used to being alone and doing what he wants, so this is a gigantic change. Will he manage? I am finding the book amusing. I like Patrick and he's right: children can be exhausting.
......to love this pillow we found at Target because it's true.
