I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be going to Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld this weekend. There are haunted houses, frightening trails, and scare actors roaming around when it gets dark.
.....to have showed Natalie the movie Edward Scissorhands for the first time over the weekend. She loved it. She thought it was sweet that Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder dated in real life and was even more amused when she found out Johnny got a tattoo that said Winona Forever and changed it to Wino Forever when they broke up.
.....to be getting my grays colored this week. I always know when it's time when my blunt son with autism tells me I have "so many grays."
.....to be glad Tommy is enjoying going to his college campus for the first time since he started community college last fall. It's only one class, but he's hoping it'll be all in the spring.
.....to love the show Gilmore Girls so of course I had to pick up some makeup from the collection at Ulta Beauty. I did not get it all because I have pesky little things called bills to pay, but I'm happy with what I got. Yes, one of the lipstick colors is called Vicious Trollop and fans of the show will recognize the name. Most are still available online if you wanted to purchase your own. My daughter and I are huge fans of the show.
I loved Edward Scissorhands! I used to know all of his lines.
ReplyDeleteKids can be brutal when they are honest. My kids will also point out my flaws.
