I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be excited that Natalie loves the movie Titanic as much as I do. In high school I was pretty obsessed and saw the movie many times in the theater and had the 2 VHS tapes. Granted, I was intrigued by the Titanic BEFORE the movie came out, so the movie was just icing on the cake for me. Natalie has been watching on Netflix and she is starting to memorize lines as I did. So we're randomly like "I don't see what all the fuss is about. It doesn't look any bigger than the Mauretania," or "this is my part of the ship. YOU leave."
.....to be going to see the play Natalie has been working on called The One Act Play That Goes Wrong this week. She was picked to be an understudy. It's mostly a cast of juniors and seniors so she's been thrilled to learn a lot from them. She gets to do some background work, so she's been having fun with that. I'm excited to see it!
.....to have gone to look at cats at the Humane Society over the weekend. We didn't find any that connected with our family, but there were some sweet ones.
.....to be in search of a new Dodge Ram for my husband. Obviously this is a terrible time to purchase a vehicle seeing as they are in such low stock these days, but his is 2007 and he's due for an upgrade. We're still looking for a great deal. We walked away from one dealership who seemed way too pushy and were like, "Well we're one of the few dealerships that actually have stock." Not really. We're going to another that has multiple trucks to look at as well. Do not let the dealerships bully you. Walk away if they do and find another.
.....to have put our Christmas tree up. Granted, it won't be decorated with ornaments until Thanksgiving is over, but we purchased a new tree at Lowe's and it was just sitting in the box, so we though, heck, why not? It has different light settings. It can be color or white or alternate between the two.
That's great that Natalie is working on the play!
