If you're looking for a delicious place to have brunch, I suggest the Magnolia Pancake Haus. Not only do they have scrumptious pancake selections, but there are other fabulous breakfast options too. They are family owned and operated, so that's another reason why I'm a fan.
It's in a lovely building. And there are three locations now. This is the newest one.
As I mentioned, there are many choices so if you don't appreciate pancakes, you'll find something else to enjoy:
We had heard how delicious it was but there was always a long wait. We had tried another time and it was a 35 minute wait and we're not patient people when we're hungry so we left. This time we lucked out with NO wait.
They opened a location right down the road from my parents' house. This one is located in Cibolo while the others are in the Medical Center and Embassy Oaks.
I love that they bring a bunch of syrup and butter out.
I decided to get the authentic apple pfannekuchen and no, I did not pronounce it right when I ordered. It's basically a puffed pancake with delicious spices and apples. Plus European style whipped cream.
I mean, yum. When it arrived, I practically drooled. I couldn't even finish it because it was HUGE. But I would recommend it!
We also tried the biscuits and honey butter. The biscuit was a bit plain but dipped in honey butter it was incredible.
I wanted to take a photo of my children's plates but they ate too fast. Natalie got the blueberry pancakes and said they were yummy. Tommy got the omelette with pancakes on the side and liked them.
If you don't want to wait long, I suggest going during the week. If you go during a weekend you will be waiting, because everyone loves the incredible pancakes, so bring your patience. Oh, and they're only open until 2, so not breakfast for dinner, sorry.

Are you a big fan of pancakes? I love them in many ways: plain, with fruit, with chocolate chips, puffed, probably not wheat because I like mine unhealthy and dripping with syrup.
