We love Christmas lights, and Elf Acres is literally down the road from our house. We like that it's family owned and not overly pricey. It is $30 on non-peak days and $35 on peak days. You can see what days those are here. You can either purchase tickets online or at the gate. And yes, they do a military discount. I believe it was $2 off the price. Just show an ID card. They are open 600pm-10 Sun-Thu and 600pm-11 Friday and Saturday.
You go through one mile of lights and animated displays while listening to Christmas music on the Elf Acres radio station.
We always love seeing the military area:
This was a cute set up!
When you are done with the lights, you can get some food. We went for the Kettle Corn and glowing cotton candy. There are also funnel cakes and other goodies, like hot chocolate.
Oh and yes, you can visit Santa at select times too. He wasn't there when we went.
It's the perfect spot to go for a family evening. I suggest getting there when it opens at 600. The longer you wait, the busier it gets. You can even purchase a season pass for $70 and go as many times as you want! We love seeing the synchronized light shows on the 3 giant trees as we eat.
You have until January 2nd to check out the lights, so hurry in!
