I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to not be doing much for Labor Day weekend. We'll probably watch some movies on a streaming service.
.....to have started watching Never Have I Ever on Netflix. I had heard about it of course, and I'm glad I finally checked it out. It's hilarious! It's created by Mindy Kaling, so it's no surprise that it's amusing. If you need a laugh, watch.
.....to have purchased my first Pumpkin Spice goodie. I found the Pumpkin Spice Oreos at Target, which are delicious. Not every pumpkin spice treat is a hit for me, but the Oreos are.
.....to currently be reading The Catch by Alison Fairbrother. It's about Ellie, who is a young journalist a few years out of college. Her father suddenly dies and she's left a bizarre gift in his will that makes no sense to her. She decides to figure out who her dad truly was and discovers secrets in her search. I'm almost done and while Ellie isn't my favorite character, it does remind you that sometimes you don't truly know a person as you think you do.
.....to be proud of Natalie for overcoming her nervousness and trying out for varsity theatre. She had to give a monologue in front of her current Theatre 2 class. She picked Flynn Rider's opening monologue from the movie Tangled. She has always loved the movie and knew she'd be most comfortable reciting Flynn's words. Tangled has always held a special place in her heart and visiting Rapunzel and comparing the twirlability of their dresses on our last visit to Disney World is a treasured memory:
