I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to have loved watching Hairspray over the weekend. Natalie played Shelley, one of the Council Members in the Corny Collins show. Everyone did amazing!
.....to have mailed off most of my holiday cards. I try to get them out early since December can get crazy.
.....to currently be reading Nicholas Sparks' new book Dreamland. It's about Colby, who is a singer/songwriter. He meets Morgan and quickly falls in love after a few days which yes, does make me roll my eyes a bit, but ya know. It's Nicholas Sparks. The book is also about Beverly, who has just escaped her abusive husband with her small son. Will they be found? And will Colby and Morgan end up together? I am nearly done with the book and it is enjoyable! I am worried about Beverly and hope she'll be okay.
.....to be going to see Elf at the theater this weekend. I love when movie theaters release older films. It's fun to be able to watch on the big screen.
.....to love when we can support veterans. Sam Baker is 100 years old and fought in WW2. He published his first book at 95. We received Oscar the Mouse which is about Mini, who finds a mouse living under her bed. It's a book about friendship and the excitement of having your first pet. It would be the perfect holiday gift. You can purchase it here and pick up some of his other work as well!
I have Dreamland and need to read it.
