Son Photoshoots Are Always An Adventure

I honestly don't know what I'll get out of Tommy when I take photos of him. He tends to make silly faces or he'll look like a homicidal lunatic. I told him I wanted to get photos for his 21st birthday and he agreed if I paid him "a million dollars." Then he was like, "I'm joking, I'll take a $20." (He got nothing.)

Anyhow, here's how they turned out.

For starters, he was like, "Ahh I'm being tortured, send help!"



Then he was like, "Actually, I'm 12 not 21."


Then I gave him his crown and sash and he was like, "I'm not sure I like this."



I don't know what he was doing here.




I mean, really, what? I was like, "can you look pleasant please?"




He was like, "Is this pleasant?"




It can take a bit, but I did get some good shots in!






And I love that one of the stray cats came to say hello:

    Lovely photos here. I love having photoshoots with my son too. He is 12 and there is always an adventure inside him.

    If it makes you feel better, I'm autistic and 46, and my parents still have to put up with this kind of thing. I hope Tommy had a great day!

    My kids never like taking photos either. I personally like candid shots. Tommy's photo shoot came out great. Thank you for sharing and I hope he had a great birthday.
