I'll be honest, I'm usually in bed by 1030.
So New Year's Eve is a big of a struggle for me. I consume extra caffeine to stay awake.
Our neighborhood always has fireworks so if I start to drift before midnight, those explosions will wake me right back up.
I picked up some New Years decor at the dollar spot at Target. Or I'm sorry, Bullseye's Playground. I'm sorry, but the dollar spot just sounds better.
These napkins are accurate:
Anyhow, I mostly watched a lot of episodes of Real Housewives and ate junk food.
Then I went to a friends house for a little bit and ate more junk food.
Then we watched some fireworks.
I don't bother with resolutions. Some people do a word for the new year and all I can think of is Pandemonium because the world is a crazy place.
But I do plan on having a fantastic 2024. In the summer we're headed to Disneyland and we're doing the WB Studio Tour so we can finally see Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls in person.
In July we're headed to Ireland and Scotland. In Ireland we're going to the Titanic museum where the ship was built, and I cannot wait.
In August 2024, my daughter will be a senior in High School. Cue tears.
It's going to be a good year. Chaos and all.
What a lovely celebration you had - love the glasses! Sounds like just my kind of New Years, especially the junk food part! Stephanie
