If you love going to movie and TV sets, the Warner Bros Studio Tour is for you. Bunches of fantastic movies and shows were filmed there. From Gilmore Girls to Friends, many of your faves were shot on sets on the lot.
I wrote about how we did the Studio Tour Plus and shared if I found it worth it. Since we did that tour, we got free pastries & drinks, watched a short film on what all we'd be seeing, and then we started the tour on trams like these:
Normally you get to drive through this fake jungle area, but it was blocked off when we went sadly. Several things have been shot there. The pond where Luke pushes Jess in on a Gilmore Girls episode is there. The pond was used in many productions like ER and such. Also the scene in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldblum shouts, "Must go faster," was filmed there.
You are driven through a neighborhood used in many productions. We saw a home for Night Court that was also used as Christopher's house in Gilmore Girls: ("adult chocolate chip cookies.)
We also saw a parking spot for Mindy Kaling as we drove by and got excited.
This was a cool area that they had set up for Young Sheldon. It's also been used in Austin Powers 3 plus many others. We were told how it can be "dressed up" depending on what the production needs.
This area has been used in Friends:
This was the orphanage in the 1982 film Annie:
This theater was used in Gilmore Girls when they saw The Bengals concert. Sometimes you weren't able to get off the tram, but there are areas where you were allowed to take photos:
We went to a neighborhood that was used in films in the 50s and 60s. I can picture Cary Grant strolling around:
This has been used in countless productions like Batman from the 60s and the end of The Greatest Showman:
You get to take a photo on the Friends couch with the fountain used at the beginning of the show. That's not the original spot where it was filmed, but it is the original fountain:
We saw the stage where Friends was shot:
Seeing this lamp used in the classic film Casablanca was awesome:
If you're an Austin Butler fan, you can see a costume he wore in the movie Elvis:
We were impressed with this Friends set up of Central Perk:
There was a set of The Big Bang Theory as well:
There's set ups so you see how your favorite film and tv shows are shot:
If you're a Harry Potter fan, you're in luck, there's all sorts of photo ops:
The kids found out what house they belong to. I think Natalie was Gryfindor and Tommy was Hufflepuff?
There so many wonderful moments during the Warner Bros Studio Tour. You'll notice I haven't hit on what we saw from Gilmore Girls--that is coming, I promise.
If you visit Los Angeles, I highly suggest booking the Warner Bros Studio Tour. The tour runs 7 days a week from 830-330.
Have you ever done this tour before?
Greetings everyone. I needed to turn in an essay urgently, but due to work and other commitments, I just didn't have the time. In desperation, I came across https://nocramming.com/mypaperhelp-review and read their review on MyPaperHelp. I decided to give their service a try and have no regrets. The essay was completed on time and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Every aspect of the assignment was worked out in detail, and the text was written competently and professionally. Thanks to nocramming I found a reliable assistant in my studies.
