Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

....to be glad that Natalie had an enjoyable birthday party over the weekend. She had a bunch of friends over and I ordered a pasta station from Olive Garden

.....to be watching Happy Face on Paramount +. It stars Annaleigh Ashford as the daughter of a serial killer known as the Happy Face killer. Dennis Quaid plays her father and does an amazing job. Only 2 episodes are out so far and new ones drop on Wednesday.

.....to be proud of Natalie for sticking up for herself. There's been a student in theatre who hasn't been kind towards her. See, Natalie was dating a theatre boy, they broke up, and she started dating another theatre boy. This can cause chaos in the theatre world and this student wasn't happy. So she'd post cruel things online about Natalie and gossip with people often. Natalie had enough and decided to drop theatre to protect her peace and wrote down a statement about the student with the principal. Natalie can be shy so speaking up can be tough for her.

.....to love the Tangled themed birthday cake we got from Haby's Bakery in Castroville, Texas. If you're ever in the area, stop in. They make delicious treats! (Plus fresh breads!)

  1. Good for your daughter for standing up for herself regarding the bully in her theatre class. I know it's very hard sometimes for teens to stick up for themselves!
