I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to be excited to see Natalie this weekend. She's driving from college because we're headed to Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld. I was invited for media day and she's my plus one.
......to also be excited because on Saturday, Natalie, my Mom and I are seeing The Sound Of Music in theaters. It's one of my favorite movies.
......to have been dealing with my cat having diabetes. She gets two shots of insulin now. She's not always happy about it.
.....to have not watched much of the VMAs, but I did catch Sabrina Carpenter's dance and was happy to see drag queens on stage with her. Plus there were signs that said Protect Trans Rights. Loved it!
......to have been excited to find the Reeces Oreos at the grocery store. I love Oreos. I love Reeces. So it's the perfect combo. And yes, they were delicious.
Thank you for sharing such an insightful discussion on Things Your Child Should Know Before Going To College. As a parent, I found this extremely helpful because preparing our children for independence is never easy. I appreciate the practical advice on time management, budgeting, and self-care, which are crucial for college success. Personally, I’ve seen how academic challenges can overwhelm students, and services like help with nursing assignments have been a great support system for learners balancing studies and new responsibilities. Your post is a wonderful guide for parents like me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a blog post! It's so nice to read about the little things that bring you joy, from seeing your cat get better to exciting weekend plans. I hope you and Natalie have an amazing time at Howl-O-Scream and seeing The Sound of Music.
