I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to be going to see Regretting You with my Mom this week. I hear it's a good movie. I did read the book, so I know the plot.
......to be excited to see Natalie this weekend. She's coming home since Thrift Con is going on--it's a convention where there are a bunch of booths with vintage goodies.
.....to have had a quiet Halloween--both kids are in college, so they went to parties there.
.....to have gone to see Tommy for brunch over the weekend. He's doing awesome with his job and school. He's gotten lots of praise on the editing he does in videos, so I'm so proud of him.
......to love this Home Alone shirt & hat from Five Below. Bring on the holidays! We watch the movie every year.

I love that Home Alone t-shirt too! Its a great Christmas film that we watch every year.
ReplyDeleteThrift Con sounds great! Love the shirt, it takes me back to when this first came out. I love watching Christmas movies.
ReplyDeleteThrift Con sounds amazing!! That would be something I would love to go to myself. I love thrifting.
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet Thrift Con was amazing! My kids would go crazy over your Home Alone t-shirt; I need to see if I can find this for them. It would make a great Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteI love how you’ve framed this “Hey, It’s Okay…” list not as perfect perfection but as real, relatable moments—especially the mix of small wins and everyday truths.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us that it’s okay to embrace the imperfect, laugh a little, and just be where we are.
This is such a lovely and cosy post!
ReplyDeleteAnd that Home Alone T-shirt is just brilliant! We watch that film every year too, it's a real festive tradition.
Speaking of traditions, we have another big tradition here in the UK – festive horse racing. It's just part of the season.
But if anyone here from the UK is also into racing and is looking for a truly premium, classic bookmaker, I highly recommend Fitzdares Casino They are very traditional, unlike all those flashy casino sites.
Anyway, have a great time at Thrift Con with Natalie! It sounds really cool.
Is it okay to embrace imperfect everyday moments?
