Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to be going to see Supergirl this week. It hasn't received the best reviews, but I notice the bad ones come from ugly white guys, so, go figure.

......to not be doing much for 4th of July. I'm not the happiest with America at the moment, so it's tough to celebrate. I'll still catch the fireworks though and it's always nice to be with family and friends.

.....to hope Natalie survived working on 4th of July. She's a lifeguard, so I imagine she'll see some interesting things.

......to need to watch Voicemails To Isabelle on Netflix. I keep seeing clips of it on TikTok and it sounds like something I need to see. It's about a woman who loses her sister and she leaves voicemails on her old phone number. She does not realize the phone number belongs to a guy now...and he's been listening to all the voicemails and falling for her.

......to have picked up these Maggie's Apple Pie cookies from Pepperidge Farm because I was intrigued. They are delicious and if you're not in the mood to bake a pie, just grab a bunch of these and put them on a plate.

  2. Ehh, ignore the reviews. The Snyder Bros are still whining about the Snyderverse. Super Girl is a great popcorn movie. I liked it.

  3. Hey, it's okay to have a bad day. To be tired and angry. Tomorrow will be a better day!

  4. I already started celebrating for the 4th. I went to a freedom fest last Saturday. I listen to Christian music and watched fireworks.

  7. Pepperidge farm is a great brand; I haven't seen this yet but when I do, I am going to grab a few. They look delicious. My husband loves apple pie so I'm sure he'll love these.

  8. I have zero plans for the 4th of July either. I have to work but other than that I’m just chilling at home afterwards.

  10. Nice on the pies. I will check them and the Netflix docu out. I read about it too and apparently based on a true story. WOW! Happy 4th!

  11. Hey, It's Okay is such a great little ritual – just listing things you're okay with feels like giving yourself permission to relax 😄 I totally get not being in the mood to celebrate the 4th this year, but fireworks with family sounds like a nice middle ground. Those Maggie's Apple Pie cookies have been on my radar too, might grab them instead of baking a whole pie. And that Netflix movie sounds like a beautiful heartbreaker – definitely adding it to my watchlist. 12. I always enjoy these "Hey, It's Okay" posts because they capture everyday thoughts that many people can relate to. It's interesting to see how different people reflect on what's happening in their lives without taking everything too seriously. I found
spinogambino while browsing similar lifestyle blogs, and it inspired me to appreciate the little moments too.

  13. Those apple pie cookies sound amazing, and I love how this post just lets you be real about what's on your mind. I've been using Thorfortune lately to organize all these little "it's okay" moments and random thoughts I want to remember, and it's been such a nice way to keep track of the stuff that actually matters.
