Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to be starting to pack for our Walt Disney World trip next week. We leave on Monday. Yay!

......to be going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Yup, it's already Halloween season over there. The last time we went was 2018, so we are thrilled to go again.

......to be proud of Natalie for finishing up her lifeguard job at Aquatica. Her last day was the 10th. She had to stop since her college is over 30 minutes away and with traffic, it's just insane.

......to be going to see Spider-Man Brand New Day again. I guess we weren't tortured enough the first time around. Truly though, it is a good movie.

.....to hope Natalie gets all her college packing done. We return from Disney World on August 22nd and she moves into her dorm the 23rd. She is indecisive about what to bring and has to stare at it all and then figure out what she truly needs.

  1. Have fun at Disney! I have two kids heading to college this weekend. One is done packing and the other one has not started.

  2. Hey, it’s okay to be excited about Disney and Halloween at the same time! I’d probably have my suitcase half packed already too.

  4. We saw the new Spiderman movie twice, day after day and we just went with my husband. I had so many theories after we first watched it that we had to re-watch it while paying attention to some details. I honestly loved the movie! :)

  5. I really enjoyed reading this. Sometimes we all need a reminder that it's okay to slow down, feel what we're feeling, and give ourselves a little grace. Thank you for sharing such an honest and encouraging post.

  6. Haven't seen the spider man movie yet - I'm old fashioned and wait for the bluray. I know the packing problem, been there before. It can be difficult to settle on just what you need.

  7. Packing seems to be Natalie's nemesis, but she's got it. Maybe Not So Scary Halloween will re-energize her packing.
