Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

----------

To give my kids Kraft macaroni and cheese. Not Annie's. Apparently this is a shock to some parents.

To hope the kids don't have any cavities. They go to the dentist today. Tommy will FLIP if he has one. He already hates the sensation of getting his teeth cleaned as it is. Natalie told me honestly, "I'll cry a lot," if she had a cavity. So. For my sanity. No cavities.

To be excited that my favorite show Lost might be returning to TV. Even though the show confused me, I loved it. (The article is old, but a segment popped on during the news and said it would be back! I swear!)

To not care that George Clooney is engaged. He never excited me.

To have enjoyed the movie The Other Woman. It was pretty funny. The dude who plays Jaime Lannister is in it.

To have never put on one of Tom's button up shirts after sex. In movies and TV shows after a man and a woman do the deed, in the next scene the woman is usually walking around in a button up shirt belonging to the man. I've never done this. I put my own stuff back on.

To not care about thigh gaps. Apparently it's all the rage to have a gap between your thighs. I'm like ???

To have laughed when I saw this schoolwork of Natalie's. When has she done this?!

  1. Wait Lost returning? I have to search the Internet now!
Also I've had Annie's and it tastes better than Kraft to me but that's just me :)
I've heard about people actually having surgery to get a "thigh gap" people be crazy!

  3. Never had Annie's and don't want it. There's nothing better in life than Kraft Shells-n-Cheese for me.

And Clooney? Puh-leez. Publicity stunt. Next it'll be some lavish wedding with every soul in Hollywood there, then they'll be reports he's back wanting to be single. Whatever.

    He kinda grosses me out.

  4. Clooney is engaged? Guess he's not on my radar either!
If I put on one of Cassidy's shirts after, it would be a torn Jerry Garcia t-shirt, more like. And would I look cute? Or homeless?
LOST??? I need to hear more about this.
And we made homemade mac and cheese recently and I'm pretty sure my kids love Annie's better. It's not all that different from Kraft, right?

  5. Annie's is gross anyway. How about some slimy noodles with some cheese paste.... Um, thanks, but no.

Glad the movie was good. One that I have on my list of wants to see.

  6. thigh gaps are gross. I don't find them sexy or good looking at all. I don't know why they're all the rage.

I did not know clooney was engaged. I bet it's broken off after a few months.

  7. I always learn so much about what's going on in the world from your posts. The Other Woman looks funny...I really want to see it.

  8. I don't know anyone who wants cavities for their kids or themselves. LOL!
I agree about George Clooney. Good for him, but I'd be more devastated if Chris Messina got engaged. :)
I've heard good things about The Other Woman. :)
I make my own mac and cheese most of the time. I just make noodles and then put shredded cheddar and some butter in the pot and melt it all together. Yum! Kraft is good though and it's definitely something I miss due to keeping Kosher.

  9. I have no cares for Clooney, thigh gaps, or wearing a man's shirt after sex. Annie's is processed too...and Kraft is better tasting.

    LOLOL @ Natalie's school work.

    Fingers crossed for no cavities!

  10. Those people who care about thigh gaps don't live in reality. I have way more to worry about than thigh gaps or the complete lack thereof!
Clooney does nothing for me, I thought I was the only one.
I'm crossing my fingers for no cavities!
I don't wear his shirts either, and he doesn't even wear the shirts like the chicks wear on tv. I'd be wearing a sweaty t-shirt with a deer on it. I'm good, thanks.

  11. We're all about the Kraft Mac & Cheese in my house. Even better? We make the microwavable stuff. So quick and convenient.

If I put on one of my husband's shirts after sex, it wouldn't cover my butt because he's all of an inch and a half taller than I am. So no, I do not wear my husband's clothes to sustain the intimacy or whatever.

  12. My friend photoshopped herself into a picture of George Clooney with his last girlfriend...it's pretty funny. Now her head is there instead. I thought of her first when I heard George Clooney was engaged. But really I don't understand why any of it is news.

  13. my kids love Mac & Cheese who cares theyre happy!

Ive never put a button up on either...who wants to button all those buttons afterwards NOT I!

  14. to not worry about the fact that my kids watch too much TV. They engage with each other & have plenty of other activities . . . what's an hour or two of "spaced out" living?

to give my kids dinner at 8pm, when it's obviously a "delay bedtime" technique -- because I heard, somewhere, that kids should eat. Or something.

  16. George Clooney is engaged? WITCHCRAFT!
I love Kraft mac 'n' cheese... I actually tried Annie's and liked it LESS.

  17. Agree! Clooney does nothing for me, ever. Ugh, I hope your kids don't have cavities. It's not only uncomfortable but expensive and annoying. And the only reason I'm not going to be giving Dylan Mac & Cheese is because I don't like it myself. lol #biasmom

  18. omg I would die if Lost came back! but only if it was good. I loved Lost! and lol about the button up shirts.

  19. I am a Kraft fan... hands down. Plus it is tons cheaper than any of that organic good for you crap.

And this thigh gap rage is ridiculous. Like seriously.

  20. Kraft Mac and Cheese is the best!! Easy Mac is my lunch if we don't have left-overs!!!
I want to see that movie.
And, I've never put on any of Chris' stuff - I prefer my own.

  21. I can't help it - I'm just so proud of ole Georgie. Finally choosing a woman of appropriate age and who actually has a brain.
I have high hopes for the rest of the 22 year old pretty young thing dating old men of Hollywood.
    sorta.

    KD rocks!
And yes I add hot dogs that are not organic. (because how could a hot dog be really?!)

  22. HOLD UP.... Lost is returning!?!? I never finished it but I am planning on watching it all from the beginning again :) Can hardly wait.
George Clooney never excited me either to be honest! Nice to hear someone else admit it to! Thought I was the only one!

  24. It's ok that my friend didn't respond to a request on facebook.

It's ok that I can't make that meeting.

It's ok that I am imperfect.
There are so many things that just must be ok, regardless of how hard I am trying, I can't do it all according to someone else's ideal.

    Thanks for a fun post!

  25. I've always put my own clothes on after the deed too. Hope the kids didn't have cavities! Good luck

  26. We were not fish people either, but that little bugger won us over!
How come i have n't seen any photos of the cat?

  27. That first one - oh my gosh hilarious! Only because we had a box of Annie's in the cupboard not too long ago.

I don't want my kids to ever get cavities either. I have a mouth-full and don't wish that on them!

Thigh gaps - aint never gonna happen for me. Just another one of media's expectations placed on women.

  28. What?! Lost might be returning?! I absolutely love that show. I never got into while it was on TV, but my boyfriend and I binge watched it on Netflix. We just couldn't get enough.

  29. I have been worried JDaniel would get a cavity in one of his baby teeth. I hope that no cavities were found.

  30. The only time I've worn my husband's clothes were when I couldn't find my own, but those are just t-shirts. Who starts the deed with their dress clothes on?!
