Did everyone who celebrate enjoy their Mother's Day?
I did!
My Mom lives 15 minutes away now so we get to see her more often. And Mother's Day fell on her birthday, so we had double the reason to celebrate.
She got two bags of presents.
Here's one of her gifts. She loves plants. I wish I could keep plants alive. She's amazing with plants.
Tom gave me some pretty roses:
Oh, and Tommy came home for Mother's Day weekend. He technically finished his semester in college Friday but he's staying until May 16th to finish up some things.
I'd like to say he came home because his missed me so much but I think it was mostly because of the Mother's Day brunch--he loves to eat--and the fact that he had dirty clothes. But whatever. He was HOME.
We had the best time celebrating with Mom. We brought her roses and this fabulous vase in the shape of a book, because books are the best.
Natalie actually made me a flower out of pipe cleaners. She said she made it colorful because, you know, I love rainbows and support her being in the LGBTQ+ community.
To the kids who do not have supportive families: I will be your mother now.
I hope everyone who celebrated had a wonderful day!
