It’s no secret that I love buying my children clothes. So occasionally I’ll do an entry where I show pictures of their latest outfit.
Today I’m showing Natalie’s Halloween costume.
She’s a Peacock Princess!
The costume is from Gymboree.
Aren’t the wings fabulous?
I asked Natalie what she thought of Jennifer Lopez becoming a judge on American Idol. She’s all, “Huh?”
Then I asked what she thought of chicken nuggets and she got happy again. The girl lives off of chicken nuggets. I’m surprised she hasn’t turned into a giant piece of chicken.
She did some poses.
And then was all, “Can I turn on the hose?”
I was all, “Sure, if you want me to spin you around my head by your ankles shouting curse words.”
Natalie was like, “Um?”
Then she continued, “You can’t do dat to me.”
I said, “I actually can and will. So don’t get me wet. I’m wearing my good Mudd jeans.”
Thankfully she made the right choice and backed away from the hose.
She actually started to run around the yard going, “I’m a peacock princess.” Only she left out the “pea” part so you can imagine what the neighbors must have thought.
Anyway.
She sort of blends in with my car.
Sweet.

Awww that is such an adorable costume!! She looks great!! (and matches the car!:))
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome costume!!
ReplyDeleteThe good thing about having three boys is that I have gotten at least two wearings out of every Halloween costume I've ever bought. This year, for example, Coby is going to be a fish. The same fish costume that Colin wore, and Cameron wore. Cameron is going to wear the Cookie Monster costume that Colin wore last year. I do get my money's worth! :)
She is adorable! Maybe I'll be a good mom too and actually get my kids a Halloween outfit this year!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute costume!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's stunning and the costume too, and you have a great taste on clothes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that costume!! Of course we can't wear that kind of stuff up here in VT....we'd freeze our feathers off. Our costumes have to be thought out bought big enough to be able to stuff a winter jacket underneath. :P lol
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute!
ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! Where did you find such an amazing costume?
ReplyDeleteShe is soo cute!!! I love peacocks so i think this is really adorable! I didn't know they had such cute costumes at Gymboree! I'll tell my friend who has a nephew cuz this is too cute!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I am very disappointed in you. Only ONE costume? I was expecting at least 3 outfit changes from you! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute costume! I'm thinking of doing some sort of fall fairy costume for Evie since she's obsessed with fairies & princesses & such. :)
ReplyDeleteMy boys are rockin' their costumes early too. That's how I justify the crazy cost of them ;)
ReplyDeleteNatalie is adorable!
She's just the cutest little peacock ever!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of three things:
1) Did you know that BOY peacock's are the colorful ones, girls are brown and sort of ugly.
2) When I was on vacation we went to the zoo and there were peacocks roaming and I tried to get a picture. An up close like, I'm ON the peacock picture. I got scared because he wasn't afraid of me and he started to chase me.
3) Last Sunday I was on my way to pick my nephews up for a day at the lake. I rounded a 90 degree turn near their house and almost NAILED two peacocks (one boy and one girl). I asked my nephews and apparently there's a Peacock Farm near their home (which is NOT in a rural area). There's hundreds on this farm and sometimes they just roam the streets. Like Peacock Gang Members.
I really never thought I would have so much to say about a peacock.
Next time I'll talk about Flamingos. I only know one thing about those guys.
I LOVE that costume! I think the tights are my favorite part. We haven't bought costumes yet, I'm waiting for Party City's flyer to come in the mail so the boys can pick out what they want at home so I'm not going crazy at the store.
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious! Prettiest cock priness I have ever seen...haha!! She will get lots of candy this year! I alsways give extra to the real cuties!!
ReplyDeleteaaarrgghh.. it's almost too much!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that outfit!!!!
I love that 'cock princess costume! I've never seen anything like it before. She is absolutely beautiful, Amber. Like... WOW.
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! I love the Gymbo costume.
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous! I'm loving that costume, and she is a really great model! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite possibly the cutest costume EVER. And Natalie grows even cuter every day. However, you really can't do that to her. I'm pretty sure there are laws about that.
ReplyDelete♥Spot
Oh my gosh that is just too cute! LOVE it. She seriously is one of the cutest little girls around.
ReplyDeleteI love the "I'm a peacock princess" part...hehe.

Natalie totally matches your car! She is stinking cute!
ReplyDeletewoman, i hope you have stock in that company! :) very cute.
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is too funny!
ReplyDeleteShe looks absolutely beautiful!
Oh I love that costume. She makes a perfect princess!
ReplyDeleteShe's so adorable! I bought my daughter the same costume - it really is gorgeous. She's been wearing it around the house and loves to wave her wand!
ReplyDeleteI'm torn between wanting her to wear it a lot for dress-up and get our money's worth out of it, and restricting her wear so I can sell it on ebay next year, LOL.
That's very funny, especially the bit about her running round the garden! Oh well. At least, if she does actually turn into a chicken, she's going to be a very pretty one!
ReplyDeleteLove it! That is one of the prettiest costumes there ever was, and Natalie is adorable, of course. . .
ReplyDeleteRandom thought - have you *has SHE* seen the Yo,Gabbagabba episode about teeth? There is a song that's all about smiling for the camera. . . makes me think of you EVERY TIME!
Seriously adorable. She's right up there with Youtube videos of kittens.
ReplyDeleteI miss those days. Skye was a princess last year. This year, a bat. She's already planned out next year, a spider. And then, a cheetah. Can I disable Animal Planet?
WHY don't they have cute costumes for boys - I want to stick G in a tutu soooooo bad.
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable in that outfit. I do hope the neighbors are very hard of hearing...
ReplyDeleteGAH!!! she is so cuuuute!!!
ReplyDeleteI may or may NOT (but mostly MAY) in love with that absolutely adorable costume. It is perfection. And then there is your daughter...super cute too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she'll be the bell of the halloween ball. And this just makes me break out in hives thinking about the fact that now I have to find a costume for my daughter. YIPES!
I love the costume! I wish I had a girl too! Haha, boy costumes just aren't as fun. And I LOVE those tights! She can wear those year-round! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI just wanna squeeze her cheecks, she's so darned cute! Love the colors in her costume
ReplyDeleteWoulda' loved to hear her "peacock" song!
I just wanna squeeze her cheecks, she's so darned cute! Love the colors in her costume
ReplyDeleteWoulda' loved to hear her "peacock" song!
That settles it! I need me some wings! Do you think they have my size?
ReplyDeleteI love that costume! She is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit is awesome! I was instantly in love with the colors. They're gorgeously vivid!
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Gosh I love visiting your site! LOL. COCK PRINCESS. There I said it (= Love the costume. She is precious.
ReplyDeleteLovely costume!!!
ReplyDeleteMy girl loves chicken nuggets too. With "dip-it" (honey mustard sauce). And a side of grapes and cheese.
Cause we LOVE cheese at our house.
Yum.
She is so flippin cuuuuute!
ReplyDeleteI have 3 daughters... all of them are going to wear tutus that I am going to make them. But I don't want them to be fairies. I love the peacock! I am thinking maybe a cowgirl for one, maybe a witch, but I am stumped as to what else. I need to start making these soon too!
Gorgeous! I've just found out that my new job has a halloween costume requirement and a party. I'm more excited than an adult really should be.
ReplyDeleteUMMM HELLO cuteness!!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite halloween costume so far!
I have been looking for something for Aidyn but I havent found anything good enough yet!!!!
Gorgeous costume!
ReplyDeleteI am completely in love with that costume...I want one for myself!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous costume! She is darling. I love it!
ReplyDeleteAnother bunch of darling pictures of her...
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Gymboree had Halloween costumes!
Too cute! You seriously need to just lock that little girl up because in just a few years that little beauty will have them beating down the door. Love the costume
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful costume. I am just going to be a regular fairy again this year thanks to the talent of my aunt.
ReplyDeleteLisaDay
Seriously...most adorable (pea)cock princess, evah!
ReplyDeleteBlinded by cuteness. And it's all your fault! You and the (pea)cock princess. BTW: they sell the costume she was talking about in some stores in the city.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this costume! I immediately texted my friend who has a daughter Natalie's age so she could buy one. lol. I am also being a peacock this year, of course with a different costume for grown ups. haha :)
ReplyDeleteShw looks awesome - still with that great smile. The big question: has she taken it off yet, and will it be too worn out by Halloween to still wear?
ReplyDeleteGorg!
ReplyDeleteGreat costume ... the tights are amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh. Dear. God.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how you do it. How do you find these things that are so phemonenally cute, yet age appropriate at the same time?
I really hope they make that costume for grownups. I don't think I'll look nearly as cute as she does, but I can try!
That costume is SWEET! I love the wings! And it matches her eyes! She, ov course, looks adorable in it! And look at those matching shoes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful costume! She looks absolutely adorable in it! I swear, you must have a much better Gymboree where you live because ours never has any of the great clothes Natalie wears:(
ReplyDeleteShe's gonna be the cutest girl trick or treating on base!!! ;)
