Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your diary. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either.

----------------------

To not care that George Clooney is single again. He’s not my type.

To hope I don’t move for many, many years. I do not like the packing and unpacking at all.

To be disturbed by My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. (And to wonder how they afford those lavish wedding dresses.)

To be craving the fried rice from Benehana.

To wish that Blogger would stop messing up. I can’t leave comments on some blogs. It’ll just log me out even though I’m logged in. So then I re-log in but it still logs me out. I swear I’m not ignoring you, it’s Blogger. Plus, I can’t see my Followers. Hmph.

To be proud that I hooked up the printer all on my own. I’m awful at doing stuff like that. I half expected it to blow up on the desk when I plugged it all in.

To hate having to change my address on so many magazines. I probably read too much.

To love the place called Braum’s around here. It’s basically a burger/ice cream joint and it’s amazing.

To think Casey Anthony is guilty and should spend the rest of her life in jail.

To be a fan of the new McDonalds sauces. The buffalo one is really good. Now I want some nuggets.

  1. I love 'Hey It's OK Tuesday'!

& I definitely could go for some nuggets from McDonald's.

  2. Is it "ok" to start singing that Ooooooklahoma song every time I think of you? Cuz I do. Every. Damn. Time.

  3. Good list today. I am with you on all of them. Never have watched that gypsy wedding one. It looked a bit disturbing.

  4. I really have to watch this Gypsy Wedding show. You're the 5th person to mention it in a week, what the hell have I been missing?

Casey Anthony should just be fried, electric chair, crisco, whichever, save us taxpayers some money.

I'm going to be "ok" with stealing this idea, that you stole from Glamour, next Tuesday. Hahahehe.

  5. Braums is delish. We have them everywhere. Ditto on George Clooney and the moving.

  6. Blogger is driving me crazy too! My page is finally acting right but there are still blogs I cannot comment on. Frustrating!

Great job on the printer! No explosions in the new house, ok?

  7. I think Casey Anthony is guilty, too!

And I've had continuous problems with Blogger lately. They finally stopped for me. Hope they do for you, too!

  8. Welcome to the South - Braum's is a classic around here. Hmmm...now you got me thinking about burgers at a ridiculously early hour.

  9. Casey Anthony is so friggin guilty and I think her lawyer should be drawn and quartered too.

I have to move in September and I have an anxiety attack every time I think about it.

If no-one else wants George, I'll take him!

  10. I'm having the comment issue too.

    SUCKS!

  11. WHAT? You don't love George Clooney? Impossible. He makes my heart go pitter pat. I do love Tuesdays on your blog. And I will agree, I hope I NEVER have to move EVER again. We just moved this weekend, and well, moving just sucks! Glad you're there and got new furniture and hope you're settled in.

  12. I couldn't care less about George Clooney either. HOWEVER my boyfriend, Daniel Craig, skulked off and got himself secretly married. I'm sorta pissed at him for that!!!

I saw in my People magazine that Mickey D's had new sauces! I'll bet they'll be ancient history in the 2-3 years I'll be away from the states!!!

    Hugs to you girl!

  13. I just watched that Gypsy Wedding show for the first time last night- and I too can't stop thinking about how much it all costs??

Secondly, blogger has been pissing me off lately- the other day I left a comment on someone's blog and when I looked it posted as someone else- it was really weird- I could click on their profile and go to their blog and I checked and I was still signed in under my own name. Weird.

  14. I have been so intrigued by My Big Fat Gyspy wedding! But seriously, how do they afford all that stuff? they have like $50,000 (at least) weddings.. and is it just me or do all the girls seem like they've had boob jobs???

  15. Blogger is messing up and wants you to move to wordpress.

    Yup.

  16. George Clooney doesn't do much for me either.

As for Casey Anthony, I hope someone in prison kills her. She makes me sick.

Haven't watched the gypsy weddings. Not a fan of wedding drama (says the woman who eloped).

  17. What is My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding? Blogger has been a royal pain lately. I can't even get a draft typed up without a lot of hassle. Did they get hacked recently?
I started doing It's Okay Tuesdays on my blog a couple of weeks ago. It's nice to let myself off the hook on a few things. :)

  18. I am so with you on ALL of this ... George Clooney is old, Benihana is AWESOME, and Casey Anthony is TOTALLY guilty.

  19. I watched My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding with my daughter and was shocked. It's amazing to see a culture that encourages girls to only go to school until they know enough to read and write, then drop out. My daughter is hooked and wants to watch more. Of course, she's in her 3rd year of studies working toward a degree and maybe she's just secretely wishing that she had been "allowed" to forgo all of the cramming exam stresses! No, don't think so...

  20. Braums is an Oklahoma staple, glad you like it. I can't imagine the world without Braums. Get their millk, I don't drink it, but my family and others I know say it's the best milk around. It's also local since Braums is based in Oklahoma. They only ship it out to state that border OK so it's pretty limited where you can find them. You can also drive to their dairy and take a tour, I think it's around 1.5 hours away from OKC.

  21. I was having that same problem with Blogger - what I found out was that if you UNcheck keep me logged in - it will let you post comments.

Unfortunately, you have to log in once a "session" of reading and/or blogging.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I've been having the same problem with Blogger! I thought it was just me. For some reason you're the only blog I can leave comments on.

I always thought Braums was tasty, but when my husband was in OK for pilot training we always preferred to go to Freddy's frozen custard.

Being from Florida I hear about that case all the time and, I totally agree about Casey Anthony.

  23. I'm w/ you on the blogger issues... I can't see my followers either!

oh and a big AMEN on Casey Anthony

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm really angry at Blogger right now! One of my readers sent me an email, upset because she thought I deleted a wonderful comment she worked really hard on. Blogger didn't post it OR send me an email of it! I can't help but wonder how many people this has happened to. No wonder the number of comments plummeted over this past month. I thought it was solely due to my bad writing!

  25. I will have to watch that Gypsy show. They scare me though.

  26. Wouldn't Blogger shit a brick if we all up and moved to Word Press?

    Casey Anthony? GUILTY AS CHARGED!!

George Clooney makes me swoon. Of course, I AM older than you!

  27. All kinds of new places for you to discover - moving is fun!

  28. Blogger messed with me the other day! Logged me out halfway through a blog post without me knowing, so it hardly saved any of it. Fail.

I figured out my issue with the comments, though: "Block Pop-up Windows." I have to switch between turning it on and off so I can comment!

  29. I agree on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. Did you see how those little girls dance at the weddings? Crazy. I heard at one time that gypsies shoplift for money, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

  30. Braums is one of the 7 Wonders of Oklahoma! Just wait until November when they come out with Holiday Flavors and the best Eggnog ever!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Braums! I moved from OK 25 years ago and still drool at the thought of a Dutch Chocolate Malt.

  32. Love Its Ok Tuesdays. Nuggets sound good now!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Changing addresses on magazines sucks. I'm sure the person in our old place it enjoying my Glamour and Cosmo cause I've been too lazy to take care of it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Casey Anthony IS guilty! I can see it in her eyes.

Try tweeting your problems w/blogger (being sure to use @blogger) and that seems to get them to looking at the problem.

  35. How DO they afford those damn dresses?! It confounds me because some of them live in trailers. So weird...

When it logs you out and you log back in to blogger, make sure you don't have the "keep me logged in" box check. I read about it on the blogger help site and it worked for me. No more blogger problems.

  36. My husband has decided that if we ever have to move again, we're packing clothes and sentimental items and the rest gets sold with the house.

Part of me thinks he's crazy, but the rest of me can't help but think "yay, new stuff!"

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't understand what people see in George Clooney. He does nothing for me.
I love the Gypsy show but it's totally disturbing. I also wonder how they afford those lavish weddings.
This whole Casey Anthony is making me so sick. She has torn her family apart, as if killing her child weren't enough. I feel so sorry for her parents, but then I wonder if I should? What a mess.

  38. I think they can afford them because they live in trailers! That show disturbs and facinates me.

  39. The only thing I miss about Ft Sill is Braums :) and I totally think Casey Anthony is guilty too

    ReplyDelete
  40. I totally agree about not moving again! Packing and unpacking is such a pain. Congratulations on the printer!

  41. Oklahoma, huh? I spent my coming of age in OK. Then moved to California for the rest of my life. My son joined the Army, and went to Fort Sill for basic. Ironic?

    ReplyDelete
  42. My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding is as disturbing as it is fascinating. . . once you can figure out what the hell they are saying. And Braum's? Delicious. I thought you were from Texas? Too far south for Braum's?

  43. I'm with you on moving ... I've moved 22 times in 16 years ... I'm done ... except that we're moving again this summer ... so then maybe I'll be done. (sigh)

  45. Oh my! You've never seen a Braum's before?! You have missed out; I love them because they use real ice cream, not that soft serve crap. Have yet to have a better hot fudge sundae anywhere else. Plus, they sell great milk!

  47. We went to McD's the other day.. just to get the new sauces... and Jerk Face must've forgot, because he brought home honey.

  48. Clooney is single again? How can that HAPPEN?

    ReplyDelete
  49. blogger is really really really ticking a lot of people off.

  50. Mmmmm George Clooney!
He definitely has some commitment issues.

I was told by another blogger that when I sign in to my blog to NOT check the Keep Signed IN Button. And then it works properly.

Casey Anthony killed that beautiful little girl......makes me sick!
